    Black prior flip is unfair

i just fought a black prior as a orochi
doesnt throw anything but bashes and light bash light which is ok
but when he does a light and i deflected it and input a light punish not even a hurricane blast
and he has the time to recover and flip me ?
how is that fair ? thats BS

jesus christ i've never seen such an overpowerd move, and as amon said, ubisoft should make so getting deflected put a recovery YOU CANNOT cancel into bulwark
    that's just stupid
but it looks so damn satisfying not gonna lie

Some people might disagree but I always pointed out this is not a balanced move rather very very safe. They say you can bait it out and gb but in reality it doesn't work. Only time you get a GB BP misreads and messed up. My problem with this move is it ignores everything attack HA UB Guard GB even revenge. It can flip infinite number of people. It flips guys in the back to the front and guys in the front to the back and hits every single one of them. So he doesn't even have to lock on. Range is messed up as well. One example I was doing Viper's retreat as Nobu (possibly longest ranged attack in the game except Shinobi) I couldn't reach him but he shield flipped me. Also it doesn't use much stamina compared to how safe it is. It can do done 4-5 times with full stamina

In the video I think you went for the big deflect so there is always a risk to be interrupted. Then again shield flip is too safe

Because Prior can fast flow into full block off of an attack's recovery and the attack was deflected rather than blocked. That's why he's able to do it in time. It's pretty hilarious actually.

Maybe you are better off parrying that light, he can't bulwark out of that.

I watched that and the only reason it worked is because you deflected a light which is never really a good idea to begin with. Most characters can ignore deflects off of light chain startups with a followup light that is faster than the deflect punish. BP can enter BW quicker after a light so this is really no different than eating a light mid deflect.

TLDR: Don't deflect lights on characters with light chains. You'd get more damage from a parry anyways

I play bp and I do it sometimes. It only works if you read that your attacks will be read and deflected, so nothing unfair.

Hmm. It's amazing, incredible strong due to fast flow ... it counters more than it should. A deflect should always be guaranteed, no exceptions. Aside from that it shouldn't counter feats etc.
Anyway, this move still is relatively safe when used accordingly. However, I dont want it nerfed. I want better deflects and bug fixes first.

If then, after the major balance offenders have been addressed and maybe prior emerges as the new prime problem - now it would be time to address him. Now he seems fine to me.

false sir , there is no light chain that can beat the light deflect the only way the light deflect be interrupted is if you go for a hurricane blast first then soft feint it to a light deflect anticipating a dodge maybe if the enemy didnt dodge with a good read and did a fast light then yea he could interrupt it , only bp bw flip that can do that atm like in this video

i agree i dont suggest the bw to be nerfed to the ground , but it shouldnt at all counter a deflect like that , so a tweak is required

i agree , a tweak is all what im asking for
a deflect shouldnt be stopped like from light instant deflect , im fine if it was hurricane blast because the move is slow and there is time to recover
