So I have to lower my immersive setup to deal with this **** or should I try even harder?
After golem failrue you kept this crap even in SP campaign. You guys have no way to get any redemtion really. So sad
Edit: Let me give you easy tip... when you playtest mission design, TRY IT ON EXTREME DIFFICULTY WITHOUT HUD to see how fun it is!
MISSION START IDEAS
1. It would be awesome if there were more cut-scene movie-trailer style mission briefings instead of the boring talking to a NPC ones.
2. In addition it would be awesome if there/are mission(s) that end the cut-scene with you and your teammates jumping from a high flying aircraft (plane/heli) forcing you to parachute into enemy territory loaded with hostile NPC's.
3. Also, it would be awesome if there is some kind of navy style mission where you and your team emerge from the water (wearing the appropiate gear of course) and have to infiltrate a base.
4. Plus, a mission that starts with your team bashing into an enemy base / area in a vehicle with the player as the turret gunman causing forcing a heavy gunfight. Once in the base the player can use the turret to kill enemies or leave the vehicle to continue the mission.
5. Or a cut-scene that ends with the Ghost-team rapelling from a heli on top of a building, having to clear the building out top down. Facing major resistance (stationary turrets), AI that doesn't blindly rush towards players, heavy gunners at each side of the a hallway etc.
FORCING INTO SMALL AREAS
Force the player to go through heavily guarded narrow / small areas and encounter CQC combat even more.Examples:
1. The need to enter an elevator to continu the mission, to go up or down in a building. Once the doors are closed an the elevator is moving, the Ghost team is trapped forcing the team to decide how to exit the elevator. Once the doors open an enemy AI throws a nade inside, that the player has to react upon: rush out the elevator facing heavy gunfire or throw the nade back to create a window of opportunity to exit elevator and continue to clear the building
2. Narrow valleys (of Death) from which (as suggested before) AI can ambush the Ghost team or the Ghost team has to go through to enter a specific area.
BAD ENDINGS
Not everything has to be succesfull, in order to make progress. An ocassional death of an ally can actually help to create a more emmersive storyline that drags you into the game.
MORE CINAMATIC STYLE
Add a more cinamatic, chaotic feel to missions as from my understanding (never played the game though, sorry!) in GR Future Soldier.
OVERAL
Not to promote, but COD MW2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yV3dyc1u6tk has it all except it is just a little bit to linear in its missions. Combing this cinamatic / emersive style and find a balance with guided gameplay and free/open world type gameplay could really bring GR to another level in my opinion
So I playing some faction missions and can someone tell me how brain bead mission design team is?

And then you make my effort completely useless, because this is not Ghost Recon game, but a Ubisoft game so 2 minute waves on enemies spawning at you and attacking you from 2 sides and of wolfe caliver are a must right? THats the right level of tactical shooting experience. To sit in some corner where you cant even get a good possition becasue Dr Ballard can be shot straight from opened door throw in builidng windows. I have to say I had a ton of fun for an hour!
Thank you Ubisoft! Good Job! Please I hope that more of this kind of missions is in Motherland because this is certainly what we all love.
Yeah and not mention that stupid thing which you KEEP in the game still! I dont want to have enemies to be bullet sponges after the open combat happens! Why WHY do you think its fun to have enemies to die to 1-2 body shots and when combat triggers then they activate some metal implants and require 5+ shots? WTF is wrong with you?
I can find my own fun in the game, but your idiotic game mechanics are completely ruining any attempts!!!
