Some really good ideas here, particularly different roles, e.g. overwatch, designated driver. I’ve been wanting to have a team matte drive since early on in wildlands! Some other roles / commands could include pointman, clear building / room, lay down suppressing fire, flank, provide covering fire, fall back to RV (would need to locate a suitable rv beforehand either using the map or. It would be awesome if these could be triggered by voice as well as the usual button system, so players can think and react more quickly and naturally
This is something I've wondered about too many times. I like the suggestions in genera in this thread. Almost everything should be applied.Originally Posted by Icetyger4 Go to original post
You realise if drones hover long enough in the emp nades AOE they just fall down and break?Originally Posted by Icetyger4 Go to original post
Because Ghost Recon breakpoint is a open world game it needs The Hot Zone with a 2K radius.
Whenever you infiltrate a base there should be1- 3 radio soldiers depending on the size of the base or checkpoint and at least one radio Soldier on Patrol groups.
If you are detected without killing the radio soldiers first they will radio in to the surrounding bases and you will be in The Hot Zone within a 2K radius that will be shown on the map. A few soldiers will come right away and maybe one helicopter but You will have about four to five minutes to clear that bass or complete your objective and get out of the 2K radius Hot Zone before more helicopters, soldiers, and the big drone that alerts the wolves starts patrolling for you. All bases within that 2K radius will be on alert as long as you are in the 2K radius Hot Zone. The longer you are in the 2K radius Hot Zone will cause patrols to increase in numbers and more patrols on the ground and more helicopters in the air we'll look for you more frequently. The big drone that alerts the Wolves will fly over more frequently. For example if you are in The Hot Zone for 5 minutes there may be one helicopter, a few patrols, and the big drone flying over looking for you. If you are in The Hot Zone for 10 minutes there will be two helicopters patrolling for you, the big drone that alerts the Wolves will fly over more frequently, and ground patrols will greatly increase in numbers and more frequently. 15 minutes in The Hot Zone will be the max limit for the number of helicopters 4, Max number of soldiers patrolling and how frequently, and how frequently the big drone will fly over that alerts the wolves. If there is a bivouac within the 2K radius Hot Zone it will be a safe place but you will still be in The Hot Zone.
The only way to deactivate The Hot Zone is to get your soldier out of the 2K radius, otherwise all patrols will continue to look for you and all bases will be on alert.
This is how you make Ghost Recon breakpoint a great game.
A simple fix for the inventory and emote wheels.
I use an Xbox controller when playing Ghost Recon breakpoint. There can be four Wheels that can be implemented and used in the game for inventory and emotes. Right bumper + Y wheel 1. Right bumper plus X wheel 2. Right bumper + B Wheels 3. Right bumper + A wheel 4.
Feedback relating to Wolf patrols in open areas.
Anytime I encounter wolf patrols they are typically grouped in an excessively tight group (won't call it a formation) that allows me to take them out completely or most while injuring the remaining with one Mk2 Grenade. They are sometimes accompanied by a drone, but they are easy.
If ghosts are representing tier operatives, then they should act like they are patrolling high threat areas. Their formations should be much wider spaced at the very least. In reality, wolves should be as "ghostly" as Nomad and encounters should be a surprise. If Nomad observes them first, it should be a glimpse of one operative, forcing him to hunt them until he gets an opportunity when they make a rare mistake. It is a little disappointing that they are this easy to kill when you do encounter them.
Also, Scott Mitchell (Nomad) should encounter Wolf sniper teams when he is crossing open terrain. This would be an added challenge and make the world feel that much more dangerous.

Except for their super accurate fire on full auto on distances greater than 50m while moving (that would reduce the distance in which they can provide accurate shots to like 20 to 30 meters )
But they indeed respond better now (they flank you from different sides while some of them fire from the front to suppress you and several vehicles with two guys arrive as backup (was like this during one of the betas)
