Last night I played the game for the first time since launch where I had played for nearly 60 hours .. I'm very happy with the work ubisoft has put in and much prefer the game now .. there seems to be some new content and having AI back is great .. also loving how I can change the game to my liking and didnt think I would prefer playing with gear score but actually do.
I hope for the next GR title ubisoft learns from the mistakes this year .. I'm still finding some bugs which isnt really acceptable for a AAA title 9months after launch ..I dont think this game was ever ready for launch back in October last year.
But with everything in a much better state now let's hope next year you nail it first time
With everything please look to add next year:
Pvp like wildlands
Ai teammates individual controls
Better open world more like wildlands with lots of towns and cars on the roads with people
Grappling like seige
Better story / the story is so poor in breakpoint I just skip most cut scenes
I'm playing on extreme and still seems easy unless I'm seen .. so maybe another harder difficulty would be good
I cant think of anything else so credit where credit I's due thanks ubisoft
And give them a longer view distance. They are as blind as bats when not on alert.Originally Posted by Commande3rKane Go to original post
Gunplay needs to be much more impactful-feeling. Feels more like we are shooting pellets or bb's at enemy in this game, as was the case in Wildlands.
"Feel" the difference between firing a gun and making contact with enemy in Siege [ satisfying ], vs. Ghost Recon.[ lacking ]. Not good.
Backwards-step in how satisfying it is to witness enemy killed via drone-view with AI teammates executing marked targets, vs. Wildlands. - Reason? Lack of audio-feedback per kill.
All around: Ghost Recon needs "more weight" with it's character movements -Too 'arcadey', both in Breakpoint & Wildlands.
Ragdoll Death Animation is crucial to implement for next Ghost Recon game, imo.
I just logged in prior to the "crashing" issue and was able to play a few hours with the new AI. It appears the AI gets deactivated every once in awhile. For example after leaving a Bivouac two of the AT just sat there frozen. They didn't follow me to the helicopter even after I ordered to regroup. Only one AI followed me after leaving Bivouac. I had to go into the menu and manually deactive AI and then reactivate to get the AI to "wake up" from their frozen dormant state.
Also when setting up Sync shots the AI are able to takeout enemies that are INSIDE of buildings from the OUTSIDE? How's that possible unless they're shooting through open doors/windows? In addition when the enemies are on alert and searching they walk by the AI and doesn't even see them even if they're just a couple feet away in open space with no cover? This was in darkness so I don't know if it's how this is supposed to work but the enemies on alert are using flashlights. It appears the enemies viewing cone only works on the player and not the AI?
Anyway I've been trying to log in repeatedly and can't play so that's all the feedback I have so far in the few hours I had a chance to play.
Also is there a way to target enemies for Sync shot using specific AIs? For example if I'm playing with two AIs one equipped with a sniper and the other with a shotgun is there a way to mark enemies I want to take out with the sniper AI instead of the shotgun AI? Like if there's an enemy sniper in a tower could I tell my sniper AI to take them out instead of my shotgunner AI and vice versa?
would love to be able to change both the primary and secondary rifle for AI. I get that the secondary weapons are there so that they can perform sync shots but what if we were to restricted to just a couple of weapons? Or if for example if i have a shotgun as primary then i would have to use a mid-long range rifle as secondary. Would love to have matching ak74's for all my ai's and stuff like that.
