No weapon attachment restrictions to a degree like no SMG's with DMR scopes type thing.... ASR's should have access to all scopes, grips, and stocks. All weapons should have the options to either use 3 round burst, full auto, and or semi auto. LMG's should be able to be suppressed like in Wildlands, and AK variants that use AR buffers should be allowed to use 5.56 stock options. As far as new weapons CMMG MUTANT is all I need and I'd be happy don't know what that is look it up you'll thank me later. Also could we add some iron sights to the rocket launcher?
It would also be amazing to have higher magnifications on certain scopes or new ones.
I recommend the following:
-Primary Arms 1-10x ACSS (A really good LPVO)
-Sig Sauer Bravo 5 (Prism Scope)
-Trijicon TA648 6x48mm (Military Grade ACOG)
-Vortex Strike Eagle 4-24x50 (An amazing LDS for 500-1 mile or more very clearly)
-Vortex Viper PST II 5-25x (A FFP scope that can hit 300-500 very clearly)
These are just some of many examples.
Ubi please at 10x, 15x 20, 25x and 50x scopes
Pistol Suggestion: S&W M&P9 M2.0, the MP9 is widely used across US Military and Police forces, and has also been used in competitive shooting as well. It comes in multiple calibers with a whole host of different customization options. I could see this being a great all around pistol similar to the 1911, with a bit less direct power(I can see 22-24 dmg) and a little more control for the increased magazine size tradeoff. Mobility will be up to you, though iron sights and target acquisition could be solid similar to the USP tactical.
As a mild gun nerd, this is the pistol I've wanted even over the 5-7 but have never had the funds to acquire in reality and would love to play with it in game. The Beretta M9 is my most commonly used pistol in game, though with an MP9 I would likely be rolling with that most often.
Rifle Suggestion: Larue OBR(Optimized Battle Rifle)
The LaRue OBR is designed for urban sniping and hectic environments where a traditional bolt-action sniper rifle is severely limiting. As someone who rolls with a TAC50 90% of the time(I still really enjoy one shotting azraels and hoping they land on a patrol), I've been pondering the Larue OBR as a real DMR option. I've tried pretty much every rifle conversion DMR(Aug Scout, M4A1 scout, MK17 scout and the like) but they all tend to fall short of what I want from them(accuracy and stability are often the issue). The FRF2 has been a surprisingly solid DMR, and the G28 and MK14 can definitely get the job done. However, Top Shot introduced the LaRue OBR as a Rifle that is so accurate and reliable that even military snipers have to adjust for it's capability when training with them making this weapon incredibly enticing to try in game.
As far as a weapon in-game, balancing will be a bit tricky but I imagine it can be done. It doesn't need a high firepower(I'd say max damage of 37-45 is plenty, though I could see 30-35), nor does it need crazy range like a Sniper Rifle. But as a solid DMR, it could really shine in a game where headshots and accuracy are king(especially when you don't have the upper hand). Stability and accuracy are the most important, and can have mobility and range tradeoffs with Rifle and DMR based attachments. It's obviously up to you whether it has different trigger capabilities, but I personally would be fine with a semi-auto only.
Thanks again for all your hard work gang! I hope to see these in an update in the future, since I very much enjoy trying out the different weapons in game.
Can someone pls give a proper answer ... Why have you put the MK18 at such a low damage rating ( only 22 ) even the 416 shorty has more power ???????
compared to Wildlands this weapon does not perform in the same way .
Also the bullet drop is unbelievable,,,,, Used the M4A1 with ACOG site & was having to aim at the 500m mark to hit a target @ 280m .
What is going on here ??? . This is not good game play
We're not going to see those scopes, because they would be effectively useless given the relatively short render distance. The problem with high-magnification scopes is your field of view becomes especially narrow, and slight shifts of the rifle translate to to HUGE shifts in the FOV. Additionally, above 10x, you're getting into scopes that have very limited applications, and all of them involve long-range shooting, which isn't really possible in this game. By the time you get to 50x, you're looking at scopes that are only used for shooting over 2,000 yards from a fixed position, in a game that doesn't even fully render objects at 2,000 yards. Such scopes would be utterly useless for the 100-600 yard engagement ranges in-game. A 6x scope is sufficient for those distances. I could see an argument for 10x, but anything above that is ridiculous, useless, and entirely unecessary.Originally Posted by Zer0Will_ Go to original post
