    Infinite Login Loop

    Hello,

We have discovered an issue in which you may get stuck in an infinite login loop when signing into your Ubisoft account.

We are currently investigating on what is causing this issue. In the meantime, this can be resolved by restarting the application.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    I have tried:

    Restarting the application (multiple times)
    Restarting the quest (multiple times)
    Reinstalling the application

    None of these have helped.

Do you have any other advice for how to get connected? Is it possible to link accounts in a browser on a PC?

Only stupid game that requires this. No surprise as Ubisoft likes to force their garbage overlay on their customers instead of giving choice with steam and the like.

It’s been a week and no communication.

I’m refunding mine. I suggest the rest of us refund and show them people aren’t willing to deal with poor support and forcing us to use Ubisoft.

Any fix yet? Or at least an ETA for a fix yet? It seems like this has been a bug for at least two weeks now, which is a pretty long time for a bug as serious as "cannot play the game at all". For a game, that's about as serious as bugs get, short of maybe bricking the Quest somehow.

If there's not at least an ETA within the next few days, I'll be getting a refund and strongly encouraging everyone else to do the same.

    Edit:
For the record: No, restarting the app nor the entire Quest resolves this. The game is literally unplayable.

    Poor responses from customer support

    Read your threads please Ubisoft.

For two weeks I have been in contact and I keep being told use an activation key or link in the browser.

    1. I don’t have it on PC
    2. I don’t have it on Oculus Rift

I have it on Oculus Quest! Restarts, re-installs, do not work.

Can others in this thread confirm that the following is happening to them also please?

    1. Bought STBC on Oculus QUEST Store
    2. Installed and opened.
    3. Hit any button to continue
    4. Held the quest button to centre the view
    5. Then asked to link to Ubisoft account.

    6. It then jumps out of the game, opens a browser, sees that my Oculus has a login to Facebook/Oculus asks me to login to Ubisoft account.

    7. I login to it...
    8. It’s says they are now linked and has a link to “head back to the game”. Click that...

    9. The game comes back up, but stuck with the same screen asking me to link to an Ubisoft account.

I would request that the support staff stop asking me to send a screen shot also. It’s on a VR headset! While I can record video clips that’s cuts off the minute the game jumps to the internet browser.

Also have any of you guys effected had this game on PSVR in the past?

This is the loop that happens for me as well.

    There are howevere two small differences for me;
    1. I bought STBC via rift crossplay and got it for free on the Quest store.
    2. I use a facebook account to sign in to the oculus app which is not accepted by the web page it pops up in the browser and it had me create a new oculus account first. On subsequent loops it does remember that new oculus account.

I had the same issue but I was able to solve it.
    What I did was:
Open a browser on the quest, and go to account.oculus.com
Check in the store there if it says "purchase" when you look up star trek bridge crew there.
If it does, log off from uculus via the browser and log on again.
Check again if it now says "Purchased" and if so, restart the quest and try to go through the linking process again in star trek bridge crew.
It should now work and the game should start after linking
