Tiandi execution move bug or intended?

    My first post here
Let me start by saying, love the game, specially the wu ling faction

Been playing tiandi and unlocked the execution (forgot its name sadly) where tiandi throws down his sword on the ground, and lets loose a couple of kung fu unarmed moves on his opponent wo tries to grab the sword from the ground.
I love this finisher, but, i dont understand why tiandi, during the execution, is looking at the screen (looking at me playing the game) instead of facing his opponent.

It looks a bit wierd, why isnt he looking at the character hes fighting?
    Is this intended?
I think in the preview of this execution he IS facing his opponent during the execution but ingame he isnt.

Minor grievance tho, again, love the game!

(On a side note i rly hope a potential new wu ling hero will be an unarmed kung fu fighter, altough that wouldnt be super realistic..i want to play as ip man!!)

I think is intended, as a way to show Tiandi fighting skills by blocking an countering an enemy he's not even watching.

I think you mean the Yi Ru Fan Zhang execution.

The name basically means very easy.

    To the whole camera thing

it seems to be reference to old Kung Fu Movies where the the Kung Fu Master is easily defending against his opponent all while looking in to he camera.

    @gaser

    yeah thats the one
and now that i am at home and checked, in the preview of this execution he also is looking away from his opponent.
its just less noticeable because taindi isnt looking right at me cause of the different camera angle.

it might be extra cool for him to kick a guys *** without even looking (like in a lot of kung fu movies indeed), i just feel the execution of that isnt really working in this game
not in the least cause the character face animations arent the best in this game
tiandi is sort of smiling weirdly at me the player while he is doing the move
writing it like that it sounds pretty baddass, XD but ingame it feel a bit wierd

a well a bit of a nitpick, thx for the response tho

id really like to see the execution from the victims point of view once, but theres so few tiandi-s and even less with this execution equipped, i didnt have the pleasure yet

To see execution from victim's view on PC, press F3 during the preview. (After you pressed shift).
The execution you are talking about happens to look exact same for the victim as it does for the executioner. (He is looking right into the camera of the victim too)

You know whats weirder? His "Down to earth" execution where he kicks opponent's knee, causing them to fall right on tip of his sword getting impaled. The opponent gets officially killed AFTER he pulls the sword out. Not when they get impaled. Whether that was intended or not, it should be changed. Kinda ruins the effect climax too if you have an effect equipped.

This isnt the only execution where its like that, there are more where the kills happens not during a stab, but after the weapon is pulled out. Really annoys me, especially since i recently got another execution for warlord ("Best offense") that plays for a few seconds but looked like the kill happens halfway, just to find out it doesnt until all the way to the end where he pulls his sword out. Its dumb.

Yeah, I think these are on the right track. It's a display of skill.
