Thing is: we get 1 Knight, 1 Samurai with the final two heroes for the game coming in 2021, and next to it only half the events because we got new weapons with battle pass: they really scaled back.
We get some good balancing, maybe even cross play and / or F2P, awesome armors and ...
Well yeah, imagine the next Hero being a spear wielding Wulin with one armor thats typical Wulin, one thats typical for Samurai ... etc. - see where I am going? With enough variety in armors, nice stuff to earn, there is a lot for the developers to do. Besides, we are likely to have a very, very different faction war.
People all say its knight vs knight. I think its Orochi (campaign) vs Lawbringer on this chess picture. We will have to choose faction between knight and samurai. Well, maybe we have more choices :3 But I think faction will go.
With factions possibly gone, we need'nt even neccessarily sort heros per faction. Ubi can go crazy in customizing stuff.
However .. we will really needa see where this goes first.
Personally, I see the trouble for many with the likelyhood of us getting knight and samurai hero and the likely return to the old, likely even reduced schedule, Ubi did not tell us enough. However, if they still manage decent player numbers (therefore, extra work is absolutely neccessary! - like F2P), the game might be fun some longer. However, 2020 will be awesome concerning games. Maybe not yet For Honors special niche. But people enjoying to fight with swords will get their plate full. 5 titles I personally await.
