i've encountered a really offensive player and wonder where i can report him here in the foruns

It's not possible to report them here, as it would be against our Naming & Shaming rules.

The best place to report them would be through the Support Site here. They will look into that and take appropriate action.

Another possibility would be directly in-game. Open the Scoreboard, enable interactive view, select the player and then "Report".
