I see this place needs an extra set of hands in here. The spam is getting way out of hand with no one doing anything here. Give me the job so I can clean up the forum. I need some extra work and this would fit in nicely for me. Plus I don't like people messing up a forum that we are trying to keep active.

Moderators claim they doing something about the spam, but the result of that you can see every weekend.
It has been like that for years, and always moderators give the same EMPTY ******** LIE !!

I don't even bother to report spam, It is not our job to do it !

Not a moderator. No contact or anything from them. I was mainly volunteering to help. As they are overloaded. It is what it is.

It looks like some IP banning needs to happen here. But what do I know? The simple solution is to put me on the job. But it seems they don't want any help at all with the problems at hand. It is what it is.

To be honest the advertising spam seems to be rather prolific since Breakpoint came out - one morning there was well over 11 pages of nothing but spam topics. Rather than spend a couple of hours marking every single topic, I simply wound up messaging them directly - which got the board cleaned up in about an hour.

I usually just report only once, but make a note in my report if there are several spam topics.

I put a PM to the head guy. I will wait and see what happens. If I can help out I will. If not then I wish them good luck on doing it. It is what it is.
