Due to the rewards in targeted loot not working in open area i thought oh well there is nothing left to do so i might try out the Sheperding thing out.....
Answered calls:
1: Player was just dancing in the street (waited 2mins then left)
2: Player was just sitting in cover in the street (waited 2mins then left)
3: Player was gear score 500 and had real good gear doing a CP1 (completed it in no time)
4: Players was just roaming around the streets collecting mats (left after 2mins)
5: Player wanted to do DCD headquaters, this one went very well and we had a good convo
Just a tad bit confused, just 1 out of 5 genuinely needed help.

dont wory working as intended and always was that way
but just to be aware, you will come about some situations where the sheep is leaving and you are at 90%+ but not yet done, that is the real frustration
and since chat now seems to work fine, you can at least tell all your sheep to please endorse you, where as untill tue with 6.1 you had a chance of ~80-90% of the chat not working fopr you or your sheep which means you can not talk at all, as this bug also prevented reciving a massage while bugged
You know only 1 in 5 asked for help... Ubisoft has a predilection for forcing interaction between humans.
Mandatory online games are a data mine for Ubisoft... we grind away and get our black lungs... Ubisoft gets our money and data.
And do we ever get a capital play area that doesn’t insult our country? Prolly not.
When do you consider its a valid call for backup?Originally Posted by Riflemania Go to original post
Point 1 & 2 are clearly a waist of time.
Maybe point 3 & 4 wanted some company?
I don't want to join a group for company, i want to help players that need help, ain't that the point of the system.Originally Posted by Vanhus81 Go to original post
I don't understand how this system actually works either. I don't mind helping other players with whatever they are doing, and if it isn't anything that requires help I am out again. But maybe I am missing something with the Shepherding levels on how it works. I can't seem to get any higher or only very slowly. Seeing these 'Experience Boosts' messages all the time but it doesn't seem to actually make you level up any quicker.
But i agree that some people are just morons that play this game, I revived one and then he/she started shooting and throwing grenades at me. Took me awhile to stop laughing but in the end I just left. They made my day ... and proved once more that this game contains a lot of toxic players.
i understand that. I haven't called for backup as i can manage all but heroic solo.Originally Posted by Riflemania Go to original post
But if i ever want to use that feature, when would it be considered valid?
Is it valid if i call for backup for a CP4 (which i can clear solo)?
Or if i'm farming activities for targeted loot or .... ?
Valid for me is someone who is new to the game and needs help, i won't blast my way and do everything, i will help when it looks like the shi* is hitting the fan for that player.
I also like to chat with the player to help him understand gear/talents etc etc.
EDIT: I do on the odd occasion throw 9 seekers out just for the funny side of things when the player goes "WTF was that"![]()
#3 was probably trying to get a daily project done where you had to take over a CP while grouped.
I don't hang around if people aren't responding to in-game chat. Having said that, it's clear a LOT of people don't know about the shepherd system. One person admitted that they thought "call for backup" would call an NPC, not a human.
Yeah, I make a point of using skills to demonstrate that guns are not the only option for putting down enemies.EDIT: I do on the odd occasion throw 9 seekers out just for the funny side of things when the player goes "WTF was that"![]()
