I come back after a year, and there are still nothing social in the game at all. No guild/clan system, no global chat, no lobbies, no sandboxes or anything that lets you connect with people.

No thanks, Its more then enough that I have to endure these two groups.

For what a global chat?

No lobbies? You can make a group with up to four people or make a private match,

Sandbox? You got a training mode and private mode you wont get more there.

I think this is not the game you're looking for. This is not an MMO and never will be. This is a Brawler/Fighting game with multiplayer functionality. Same thing like let's say Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter. No sandbox or global chat intended. And for lobbies you can always make one with friends. Or ask through forums or reddit for others to join you.

Nobody cares for crap like that. You either want an MMO or Facebook, neither of which have any place in this game.

I agree with the original poster. There should be a lobby, general chat or something like that where players can just hang out, socialize, group up, jump in to spectate games and such. Shoutcasting, or livestreaming/commentating and all that fun stuff. Warcraft 3 and Starcraft 2 are real time strategy games, but the community and the channels were hopping and people would laugh and challenge each other, unofficial tournaments and all that.

As it stands now, it's just solo players getting in random teams or duels. I have watched tons of youtube clips and most of the time it's just either cursing or good fight at the end. That's it.
Hell, with social channels there can be training, tips and tricks, veterans helping out the new blood and all that. It would be amazing.

But yes, we are in dire need of some social abliity, what use is online playing if you cant social with players. Those whom disagree or dislike these things should just be able to turn it off, win/win right there

Unfortunately, we don't have anything like that at the moment, but we do have a Discord if you're interested!
