Nah, I merely call the whingers whingers. Because that is what the endless repetitive circle-jerking is. And yes, I call myself a gamer, obviously. Because that is what I do.

Yeah, after recent changes to raid system - there is no point in completing it. And it is harder to complete because there is not enough competent players who can be included as randoms in a team if someone disconnects. Yesterday I played raid with some randoms and it wasn't good: times for looking for player to join was quite long and we coudn't kill last boss because players didn't know what or how to do.

Right now I'm totally disappinted in Breakpoint: PvE isn't getting anything, PvP is basically dead because of cheaters, run&gun meta and lack of updates and raid is the worst thing they could have added to Breakpoint. And even raid is made worse with each new update. Worse and worse and worse...

I'm actually looking for a new game to move on. Maybe will go to RDR2 - peopel say that they fixed bugs. Or something else... Right now Breakpoint is basically dead: not that much players left and even there is almost no viewers on streams - everyone is disappointed.

it only feels like a circle jerk because ubi can't be arsed to "interact" properly with their community, they just leave everyone to bicker on the forums..which is supposed to be their main platform of communications.

a true ghost recon gamer would want the game to stay faithful to it's core / root gameplay that it started out with and not change it to some generic mmo looter shooter that are over saturating the industry right now and have been for the last few years.

Ah, so now we're at the "no true scotsman" level.

It's possible to game and still loathe everything about Breakpoint. There are plenty in this community who did not buy this Division clone, play other games, and still wish Ubisoft would listen to the fanbase and make it a proper Ghost Recon game.

no, some of us are just sick and tired of seeing once good gaming franchises ruined by their creators....driven further and further down the path of mediocrity.

mmo type games are some of the most generic borefests in gaming, people only play them play because of the addictive elements that try and make players feel like they have to play for longer than needed because there's some kind of "lame" pointless reward at the end and even waste money on useless "ingame" items while they are playing.

can't stand that type of game, it's not fun, it's just tidious, grinding away for that one "thing" at the end, dull and a big waste of time and if you are lacking common sense, money as well.

wildlands was ok because there was not mmo style looting to obtain new stuff, no annoying popups to notify you of the useless crap you just collected, no auto pickup of items because there wasn't any of that either.

it was just weapons cases dotted about which were fine because they gave you just weapons, the other type of crate / box was just for more ammo and to bring up the change equipment screen. both of these were just fine.

now it's full-on looting with the added bs of levels on weapons plus all the picking up plants and fruit automatically, crafting and other boring mmo rpg stuff....

why do we need that in every god damn game these days?

you know it's gone too far when they add raids....point of no return. unless there's sudden change at ubi and they go back to doing quality games....who can say..

True, I'm just checking in from time to time to see if a major patch got released which might tempt me to start this game again.

One thing I hate about modern gaming is the streaming culture. Dude above says "no viewers on stream" my grumpy old man self just thinking, so? The problem is self perpetual, publishers looking for the next big streamer, therefore forgetting about making games great. From where I'm sitting, huge streaming success is a fluke not by design.

Yup, games have really gone down the path of mediocrity since Pong was released. The pinnacle of gaming. Yes we had it rough, back then games were hard and if you tell that to the young people today, they won't believe you...

I'm waiting for the radical gameplay change announced, loot/gearscore removal, they said it take sometimes for that so I wait that to play the game again "solo".
