Hey peeps,
Just thought I'd chime in and say I've been busy with work and the festive season so haven't had much time to get online.
Personally I'm kind of holding off until the new improvements drop early next year at which point I'll probably start a new game and get back into it again.
So, haven't deserted completely, just life stuff taking over for the time being.

I think we can all assume the next ghost recon game if there is ever one is going to completely remove any notion that breakpoint ever existed or was ever remotely canon.Originally Posted by Wild-Recon Go to original post
They have the luck to have fast forwarded it into the future, now just erase it and make it current and drone-less.
Yeah, I think that they make it somewhat like a bad dream which happened to Nomad after exposure to some chemicals from drug factories (remember when you hlown them un with C4?Originally Posted by oooofnir4 Go to original post) in Bolivia.
To be honest, drones kinda ok. Right now there is a lot of drones of all types in real combat zones, even drone swarm prototype was tested by Pentagon few years back. But last month devs puched this too far. Baal? Looks kinda ok, gameplay design is bad. Gargoyle? Same. Supercomputer? Same. But this Cerberus thing looks completely out of place! its art design doesn't fir GR universe. It looks like some boss from Star Wars or Destiny, but not Ghost Recon. Again, this is what I think about art design, game design of all bosses in raid is just terribly bad.Originally Posted by oooofnir4 Go to original post
Yeah I guess the drones in themselves are not the issue, it's their bullet sponginess with no drawback on their agility and the way they break stealth that is the issue.Originally Posted by Wild-Recon Go to original post
But they need to stop being free willed if that makes sense, they need to be either remote controlled by a guy you can take out quietly or servers you can deactivate to render the drones passive.
Hell, even if they made it so that you could shoot the little eyeball camera, without breaking stealth, to simply disable the drones ability to see. Then they can't spot bodies from halfway across the compound, or target you, if things go sideways.Originally Posted by oooofnir4 Go to original post
That's a good idea. Somehow they manage to see through buildings at times, Normally flying round the side and manage to see the dead sniper on the roof.Originally Posted by Megalodon26 Go to original post
It would be nice to be able to disable a fixed antenna to interrupt communication between the drone and whatever it is reporting to... Sort of like we can knock out a generator to deal with the lights and fixed gun / rocket emplacements etc.
If we could shoot out an antenna in silence then in theory it would be nice if that meant we could go about our business in private.
And of course; some will whine about whiners.Originally Posted by correctamundo1 Go to original post![]()
