I just started to take outpost blue tiger wolves camp. Started by taking all the 3 snipers in towers then the lower ones around the side, cleared all those then got to work on the last few roaming around and was just left with a drone. After blowing up the drone and making my way to open the crates i was hit by a sniper from behind me, moved to cover and used a syringe then got a shot at the sniper who was in a tower and took him down. Moving back out i was hit by 2 other snipers from different elevated directions. It seemed that as i took my time to clear the camp slowly the first 3 snipers i took out in the towers had started to respawn. I one i took out after he shot me was the first person i took out after arriving at the camp and i know there was nobody there and they cannot climb ladders so that only leaves them respawning.
It is the first time i have seen respawning enemy while i have been in a camp and wanted to know if anybody else has come across this?
I, and my friend, have had this issue since day one. Not every time, but frequently enough for it to be an annoyance. I've noticed it only in Wolf camps, and it's never a full base respawn, always just a few. I've had the same experience with enemies respawning in what would be their original locations, but I've also just had a cluster of 3-5 wolves appear directly infront of me. Both have occurred in solo play and co-op.
Thanks for confirming, I thought that was the case as i knew i'd killed all the snipers as they are my first targets in the camp. It is the first time i have come across it, so far never seen it in a normal base but i haven't taken many wolves bases so far. Yeah it was annoying for me i can imagine it would really bug me if it is happening more often.
I will make a support thread for it and see if it can get looked at.
Sheesh. I hate that.
Shadow of Mordor has a real problem with this kind of crap. You never get a sense that you’ve cleared an area, as the game engine just keeps spawning new orcs in and on and on. This kinda stuff kills immersion for me.
Breakpoint looks pretty and in some respects looks the part — but sometimes I do wonder whether there are just too many issues to iron out.
Ubisoft — also when out in the wilderness, when spotted by a drone and the game spawns in a unit of Wolves, have the game engine spawn them in, say, 100m’s away... or further. So at least they won’t suddenly appear behind the player as if by magic, and it would at least be more immersive.
It would better create a sense that the Wolves unit would be notified and would be homing in on your last known position. But there would be some delay in getting to you — which would be more realistic!
