    My view of hardcore mode

    This is my wish list for hardcore mode to start. it's easy to implement because all mechanics already in the game. It can be implemented as WT6 option.
    1. No radar (Raid mechanic).
    2. Two armor kits and one revive kit. (Raid mechanic)
    3. No armor regen out of combat.
    4. Fast traveling from safe houses only (no fast traveling to a safe house from the middle of nowhere for example).
    5. You can use/keep looted items only if you got them to a safe house (looted items are contaminated, sort of extraction, DZ mechanic).
    6. No regular mark/health bar on NPCs (only if you pulse them or mark with weapon talents etc.)
    7. All open world activities (missions, bounties, CP, roaming gangs etc.) are heroic difficulty.

    What about the easiest of things? Purpose.

    So far HC doesnt have any purpose, you are asking for implementations to make it harder, which it could be fine, but a game mode that is exactly the same as the base game (except for permadeath) get boring pretty fast...

    I would like that this game mode would have an objective, other that repeating the base game and see how far can i get (even if it would be more difficult).

    I get your point, but at least IMO a game mode should have another purpose besides just loot. Loot is the reward for achieving something.

    For example, lets say you enter HC and your objective (with the changes you mention) is to wipe the Hyenas from a district in X amount of hours (2 maybe 3)... That would be interesting

    Of course It would be great to get new achievements and objectives. It's not directly related to hardcore itself. It can be implemented for regular mode as well.
    I'm talking about what's making the game much harder in general (with corresponding reward of course). Permadeath doesn't make the game harder.
    It just may change my play style a bit, for example, I will not play recklessly in heroic missions (more cover based etc.).
    If I take my current WT5 character and put it in existing hardcore mode, for example, nothing will be harder for me.
    So, my point is this new mode is not hardcore one.

    I like many of these ideas, being super hard core - HOWEVER - there's no point to it.. I would like a reward for my regular character based on how far I get in the hard core mode.. and not the same old crappy cache's.... something like a perfect rolled piece of gear.. something worthwhile and worth playing again...

    Yes, we don't need hardcore mode isolated from regular characters. Just an option to play regular way or proposed hardcore one you can switch at any time.
    Of course permadeath makes no sense there.

    Great ideas, these mechanics sound like what should be in a Hardcore mode.Currently we just have a permadeath mode with no new mechanics.

    - Friendly fire would be good too.
