I have a lvl 5 gs10 that i would like to restart to just focus on the game and gathering the intel bits which are kind of cool, but not if it costs me all the cool new toys.
Unfortunately i have all 3 saves used so I cant test withouth deleting someone :/
Can anyone make a person and see if everythings there pretty please??
By the way, as much as everyone likes the 516 shorty, take a mk3 mk48 compact lmg (bonus accuracy and handling in cover or prone) put a bipod, iron sites for the recoil reduction, lie down and laugh as they send helecopters at you and you shoot them down faster than a SAM lol. Add extended mag for more laughs. I actually shot all 4 gunners off the copter then popped the achievement for shooting the pilot before they got close enough to shoot! Things a laser. Watching everyone fall was pretty awesome.
Also I like the route the AI is going.. They hide when sniping, if you hear them when orange they will scream when moving and everyone else will either lay bullets your general direction or keep a close watch in case you shoot at the runner and will probably see you and unload. Almost like a section attack and they will shoot and move when red.
Some of the voice acting is better than the cut sceans as they actually sound legit scared when your taking people out and they don't know where you are. I was stalking the last guy and he kept trying to call/radio anyone else and flipped out when nobody responded.
Plus either they added names or fixed it so not everyones names sammy which is good. A shotgunner will charge with 2 riflemen behind him, blow his head off and the riflemen swear, scream some names down then bail on charging and run for cover instead. Take out a commander and everyone around hides a few seconds loosing it letting you break line of site.
Starting to remind me of mgsv a bit when people complained if you sniped from the same spot they magically saw you, but they didnt, they just figured the direction and started unloading everything in that area hoping to get you, you could crawl away and watch them destroy a rock nearby they think you were behind and the local sheep population lol... Good times.
I was hiding in a wolves base ready to pop their heads as they came in and instead of a person a bloody flashbang flew in... Then 3 shotgun guys when I was blind.. Heard a bunch of thuds and when the screen came back i was looking at ones foot dead as they reported threat eliminated. Was not expecting that.
Im even getting used to the gear system. Once you realize you dont need to min max and your ok until it starts saying dangerous area you dont need to change gear or weapons every time its a level higher... Higher level gear and enemies appear based on xp level AND skill points, so if you max all 4 classes you can be gs1 and they start dropping level 20+ items. I like how its not totally random as well and says what eaxh base contains and as you level the items stay the same but tuen better quality. So when my 553 starts to wear out i can find a base with a new one, attack it and feel like I had a bit more reason too attack it unlike wildlands where you would hit the same bases thenstart of each game to get rhe weapon you want then your done. I know you still cap out on money and parts and getting every weapon mk3 but if you dont take the xp perk and slow down a bit, beetween all the intel, investigations and needing parts/rime to upgrade because your getting 1 shotted it adds alot more reasons to go places..
Wildlands their is still a ton of bases I have never seen, the lack of cover, laser sight of the enimies through bush and no real motivation, and I love Wildlands. But Ive hit alot more bases in breakpoint even if its to unlock an armor piece in the customize menu.
You just can't play it as a min-max like wow where you need to always need the highest lvl item.. The bases scale up with you bit at the start there is very few bases totally out of your range so the slower you go the better.
Sorry for going off topic but I just think its cool Im starting to like this game.. Its not Wildlands but can be almost as fun. Especially when you train yourself that just because you find a blue or purple item you dont need too use it or replace your regular black item.
Oh my god... So I held my breath, closed my eyes and deleted my lvl30 gs190 save and started a new game.... I was sick of all the drones that high up anyway.. AND IT WORKS!! Act 1 and 2 are unlocked for new characters as well!!!
Thank you so much ubi! I maxed out lvl 30 just tier grinding which sucked, but now I can start a game in Extreme, one weapon only and focus on the Story/gathering intel. I like reading about the drone testing and different bio's and the investigations was a good idea and way to remind you whats going on..
Anyone wanting to do a 1 weapon "ghost mode" run... Start game, kill the 2 side guards with a knife, toss a grenade at the 2 guards throwing a grenade in the bunker, open the box with your first main weapon(DO NOT EQUIP IT), go in the hanger and open the box with the headgear(DO NOT EQUIP IT AGAIN), take out the 2 guards and you should level up, if not go kill the 4 by the bunker and box(BUT DONT EQUIP WHATEVER YOU GET) once you level up you can choose your class and unlock presets.
It copies your current preset into the other 2 which is why you dont want to equip anything. Quickly make all 3 presets and you now have 3 presets with gs1 and no head gear and only a pistol. You can now use Default to use 2 weapons, preset 2 as a hardcore mode with 1 weapon and leave the 3rd alone for now with gs1 and no head or primary weapons.
This is because if you unlock another class as soon as you choose it, it will use your current setup as its default preset wreaking the ability to carry 1 weapon with that class. So unlock another class, choose Preset 3 (or the one with no weapons or headgear) THEN go to a bonfire with no headgear and no primary weapons and choose the new class, your new class now has its default gs1 no head, no primaries! Fill other 2 presets with the base no primary weapons no headgear gs1
Repeat the same steps with the other 2 classes and now every class can have a normal 2 weapon preset, a "ghost mode" one primary setup as long as you never touch the second primary weapon slot. Plus a third almost reset class if you want to make life hard by saving some low level gear. Or make it your pvp preset if you play ghost war. If you want to go real extreme force yourself to only change weapons and perks when at either a faction base or at a bonfire! You dont need to activate the bivuac to change the weapon and perks but forcing yourself to at least get to one really makes you think what you want to use. All of a sudden your stuck with just a sniper, DMR, Shotgun, submachine gun or assault rifle.. I let myself use gunsmith as I can pretend the attachments and tool to attach them to the rails are in my backpack.
All of a sudden sharpshooter, do you want a big sniper but have to zoom or deal with the slow non scoped aiming? Or a DMR like the m14 or new sig 553 scout where you have less damage but can burst or go full auto when it hits the fan as well as the option to use iron sights for faster aiming and the 7% less vertical recoil which is a really good way ubi made iron sights useful vs always having optics on which have no bonus (The m14 with iron sights vs with a scope on auto is a big difference in shoulder and 1st person view!) But still be able to toss an acog on to deal with farther targets.
Panther, heh. That submachine gun with no damage reduction supressed is awesome but now range really matters as you dont have a sniper on your other shoulder... And the IR rail with the extra range vs the 3 dot laser increasing accuracy becomes a hard choice, and your forced to play as a panther getting close and using suppressors plus your handgun especially with the perk and the ones that have +5 damage after swapping are really important when you decide to use an mp7 eat a mag in a second and need to swap to pistol instead of reloading.
Actually your handgun gets really important when you only have one primary as you cant equip a stoner lmg with 556 ammo and a mk48 with 762 ammo and never run out of ammo or reload in a fire fight.
Or if you choose a TAC-50 and Marksman all of a sudden when your in a base do you want a lower damage m9 or five seven with lots of rounds or a 1911 or p320 with less rounds but more damage? Or go all out with a desert eagle and if you get spotted blast away with your friggen 67 damage and 1 shot the shotgunners you know are rushing towards you... I've spent 15 minutes thinking what to best use to tackle a base/mission and I've been shakimg and needed a break as a panther when I was an idiot, stood up, a sniper saw me but all i had was an smg.. Middle of a wolf base.. I couldnt get the sniper but full damage suppressed let me hide until they went orange then slowly crawled/crouched away completely out of meds...
The 15% reload speed perk is your best friend... BUT..
Do you really want to throw on the underbarrel handle that gets rid of a ton of vertical recoil but adds horizontal recoil and reload time?
The 3dot laser will counter the horizontal recoil but if you have the handle and an extended mag that adds more reload time the extra time can literally take a lifetime even with the reload perk.
Plus you only have 3 perks so your sacrificing something for just a quicker reload. It may not be super realistic still but it makes the game waaay more tactical in that planning your 1 weapon, handgun and perks really, really matter and you need to play to each classes benefits. Plus your choices have a gigantic influence on the game especially if you play hudless or at least turn of hud enemies and minimap.
If you leave enemies, objective, loot and items turned on in the minimap menu then turn off minimap everything left on will still appear on your main map so you can look at your map to see where marked enemies are, any boxes, loot and your objective to make a plan. Then in game you cant see the people and even though you have an idea where everyone is they may be moving! Especially if yellow or orange. It dosent take that much time to press the map button and although you may get lost at first, in real life you get lost when your in a new city too and need to pull out a map... But unlike having a minimap where you can play 100h then turn it off and get lost still. If you play 100h no minimap just like real life you almost never need the map button as you learn landmarks, the shape of certain bases and the horizon to tell you where you are. Leave the new province message on and your set! Also leave communication hud on so you can set a waypoint on the map and see it in game to help learn and if in coop you can still see the markers if someone aims, sets that triangle blip and says go there.
Also dont take any of the stamina or climbing passives and its almost pre patch where you can't run or slide forevever, you can still break a leg rolling and need to duck and carefully go down steep hills.. To everyone who thought it was unrealistic at the start, go throw a 60 pound rucksack, boots, hold a 7+ pound weapon(or stick if your british lol, sorry I love you) with webbing and ammo and try to run down a hill more than 30 degrees and tell me how it went after your out of the hospital... We have joysticks on console at least... Your not supposed to fall... All it was supposed to do was make you think and instead of running full tilt or sprinting all the time not thinking walk at half speed or duck and then go down or up.. If your crouched and go slow you can go up or down almost anything without sliding... It was supposed to slow the game down and make you realize that like racing games, going full tilt on the joystick isnt always the best idea.. Plus one of my most intense moments I was running as i had a leg injury, had a bunch of guys chasing me, kept sprintimg down the hill, fell and rolled to the bottom and all of a sudden I was critical with half a base behind me.. Luckily there was a little shack at the bottom and the ai had to slow down to get down the slope, I just finished bandaging when they got to my house... I was sweating bullets as i heard rhe voices come closer but was helpless!
I dont care if they keep bandaids unlimited but they need to stop syringes mk1 or 2 from healing wounds as well as health... Two types of damage, two types of healing have one for each! If one (especially the faster one) does both then the other one becomes redundent. So when you have a bullet in your leg and are trying to run but stumbling away and almost dead let a syringe heal you but not fix the bullet wound. It just buys you time to get somewhere or finish clearing a room so you can bandage it before the enemy catch up or more guys reach the room your in.
Sorry for the bad spelling my screens broke and im in a rush.
Sorry its a novel but if you read it hopefully you will try it or can at least see how you can turn this game into more of a sim or at least make it super intense until they come out with the supposed new mode.
One last thing. Play on reg not extreme. People complain you dont get wounded enough... If you dont take the 40% anti wound buff and play on arcade you get wounded all the time and its almost MORE intense.
But on extreme the time to kill is so fast how can you get wounded? When 2 bullets kill you your not going to notice being wounded because your dead.
Arcade or regular allows you to take leg/arm shots and not die but they do get wounded. They need to change extreme so that head and chest is lethal still but instead of a leg or arm shot killing you, you survive but are wounded.. Not everytime as thats too much but if you take 3 rounds in the leg on extreme, then let you survive but your definately wounded.. Same with arms.. 1 shot you can get away with no wound and 2 shots is a 50/50 or something, 4 or more your either crit at 4 or dead, 3 chest shots your dead, 2 your 50/50 critical wounded and 1 the armor saves you since the plate isnt smashed yet.. Headshot is a headshot... Goodnight... OR if your GS is close enough or higher than the enimies 1 head hit your critically wounded 100% of the time, 2 head hits your dead no matter what.. That can sort of simulate wearing a helmet as even though you might get lucky getting pinged in the helmet your seriously hurting or real life need a med evac. Since its still a game a crit wound could simulate the severity of the wound and the time to bandage yourself up can simulate the copter getting you to the hospital in time.
Because if you get hit in the head, in a few seconds the base will be red and charging at you making the chances of healing before they get you or you managing to stumble to a different bush and hide or reach a vehicle and book it seems a pretty fair trade. And chances are, most times you won't manage it making the single headshot lethal or game ending rather. 2 headshots your just dead.. Or need to be revived if coop or when AI comes. Thats my idea on making wounds appear more on advanced or extreme.
Maybe make that extreme and advanced the percent changes from 50/50 to 25/75 for extremities and 50/50 on a crit wound with 1 head hit but 2 still kills you.. Makes it a bit easier and you could justify it as the bullet just grazed your helmet. This is after seeing how many time I survived but I,m critical or wounded somewhere instead of dead on lower dificulties and the tension healing adds as well as the chance of surviving healing, because if you just try to insta bandaid right there your dead, you really need to think, I'm screwed, how/what do I do? Can I escape? Do i have time? Am I somewhere I can break line of sight and try to hide somewhere? Plus you need to think FAST and for me at least to have to make all these choices in a second knowing the wrong answer I die is more intense and immersive as a video game than a simple game over screen then respawn outside the base to try again. Especially if it happens when your 3 or 4 guys away from clearing it. Hearingbthe footsteps getting louder with no minimap or enemy hud markers while on the last wound is terrifying! When you just make it and clear you feel awesome, when your so close and then you get a shotgun to the back of the head.... Those are moments you remember or make your heart jump...
Really hope some people give it a try or ubi makes its intense mode somewhate like this as it makes it feel like a sifferent game. Or if you don't try hopefully it gives people some ideas on how ro up the intensity and systems while keeping that mix of realism/its a game and how to use some of the new systems in the game.
I like your hardcore idea. I might try this.
How do you intend to handle loot and ever increasing gear score? Even if you try to avoid it, you will pick stuff up by accident... and doesn’t that artificially start raising your gear score even if you don’t equip it? Or how does that work?
Steven did something similar I think where he went back to all GS150 gear from the Walker mission. Steven, if you check in here, how did that play out?
Once your gear gets even a to 5, your single primary slot will put you at a disadvantage because enemies are matched to your dual primary gear score.
What is the focus of your play going to be? You mentioned investigations and intel gathering. Can you elaborate?
Edit: when you start, where do you pick up in the Faction Mission story... at the same place as everyone else I assume? Can you play the important missions from the previous episodes?
I have also done as OP, on a 2nd character using just a single primary. Enemies seem to scale to your current equipped gear score, however loot drops appear based off of your highest attained character gear score.Originally Posted by Virtual-Chris Go to original post
This was me, hence how I know about loot drops. Leaving 250 weapons equipped, and equipping 150 armor sets my character gear score at 200. This scales enemies to 200(where applicable) however loot drops remain at 250.Originally Posted by Virtual-Chris Go to original post
Ok. Sorry. I forgot who tried that. Did you play much at a serious gear score disadvantage? What did you find? I guess that’s another way to make it more challenging.Originally Posted by CrockfordCK Go to original post
But what you’re saying is that on a fresh save, you can keep your gear score as low as you want simply by not equipping higher score items.
And I guess if you never equip a second primary in any preset, your single primary gear score will be your gear score and enemies will be matched to that. So you’re not penalized for having just one primary. Cool.
I’m starting to warm up to trying another character along the lines of what’s being discussed here... keep gear score low, single primary only, difficulty on regular to add injuries, limited skills and perks, and with a focus on immersive intel gathering, playing more regionally focused with no fast travel, vehicles only.
I wonder... will this reduce drone encounters at all? For example, If I do an Elite Faction Mission, am I going to still run into multiple flying and wheeled drones when my GS is low?
Yeah that’s true. All the gear in the loot pool is in the store now.Originally Posted by Steeltooth_ Go to original post
I don’t have to delete my character, I can start a new one anytime. But what I will do before that is define how I will play differently and stick to it. But that requires understanding how some of the mechanics work and this thread has got some great ideas and insights on that aspect.
If anyone else has done a low gear score run, I’m interested to hear about the pros and cons.
Ok theres 3 factors affecting enemy gs and lvl.. 2 are obvious but the third is sneaky to the point i only noticed when i had 2 chars rhe same xp lv and gs but in one the bad fuys were far stronger...
Were using hypothetical numbers for simplicity as it took many saves and many levels to figure it all out. The game is a mix of skyrim and oblivion.
Like oblivion the world levels with you.
So unlike Morrowind or wow wich has static levels if you charged to ghostgate for some sweet glass armor you would get destroyed by high lvl monsters and if you were low level and had problems in a cave at the start area you could go back later on and be a god amongst men fiving divine payback.
I like that best and though i understand the reasons to lvl the world with you to keep up challenge there is enough provinces/bases that some are static or sentinal is static but wolves level or like Skyrim which found a happy medium basses would level with you TO A POINT THEN STOP so if the base was lvl 5 and you came back at lvl 7 the base was lvl 7 but come back at lvl 50 and the base was only 10 because its range was 5-10... This let you destroy early areas later on like fen bog while keeping places like restricted area 01 hard or even wolf camps and drone areas hard but not stupid... So in fen bog to get the ak47 and the behemoth was 80 and you couldnt do it... You come back at gs 150 to find the behemoth is STILL 150 and tou cant do it making leveling useless.. But the skyrim system you would come back and because its a start zone the behemoth is only 100 because it scaled from 50-100 then stopped... And you could have some sentinal outposts not scale and bigger hq areas have a scale range depending on province and wolf hq's stay with you and their outposts have a range but a large range to represent their elite status...
The games big enough and their is more than enough bases/provinces to do this instead of oblivion style where the whole world levels with you forever... I remember the farm with the UMP I just could not do at lvl 3.. So i came back at lvl20 gs90. Ready to give them some Divine justice and be a war god amongst men only to find the damn base was the exact same level and gs as mee and added 2 ammon or whatever the ground drones are called making it still impossible??? Whats the point leveling if everyone levels with you? I get you need challenge but its a start area amongst tons of areas... You can let me feel like im getting stronger instead of just increasing the drone-human ratio of bases and keeping them the same strength... But that requires effort... Its easier to just make the world scale and how often does ubi take the way with more work? Their like water.. Finding the fastest easiest way to the ocean.
Anyway you can check everything yourself using blueprints. Im going to make up numbers for simplicity bitnif you do it with your char you will see the changes. They are listed in importance as in the 1st affects the game the most the 3rd the least bit they all affect it.
1st. GS (duh)- Our imaginary char is going to be level 1 gs10.. Now it does not matter if you have a gs 100 item in inventory, you dont ever equip it you keep the same gs 10.. You equip it and your gs flies up then take it off the game remembers the highest gs and your screwed because enimies and items are based off the HIGHEST EQUIPT GS REACHED. Thats why you cant do what I do and equip the stock gs1 you start with pistol only no head or primaries which I have as preset 3 and have the game lower back down to be based of GS1... Its still based on the highest equipt value ever achieved... Again.. The easiest way.
So im lvl 1 GS10 and my blueprints say 11-14... If i increase to gs13 then the blueprints will up to 13-16 The world, enemies and bases increase lvl and gs the same way as blueprints.
2nd. Xp lvl - So our lvl1 gs10 gets to lvl 2! Great! Except now instead of 11-14. Blueprints are 14-17. Remember world scales just like blueprints.
3rd. SKILL POINTS - this was tough until i had 2 saves the same xp lvl and gs but 1 was alot harder. Then it clicked. One game I was trting single weapon single class and the other I had all 4 classes lvl 10! If you count the skills there is more than 30 so those extra 37 skillpoints made my character alot stronger as i had more passive abilities and perks.. It takes a few skill points to affect the world not just 1 but if our lvl 1 gs 10 somehow chose panther and got to lvl 10 without any xp lvl then instead of 11-14 it would say 13-16... Easiest way to see this is hit lvl 30... Then lvl a class or 2 up without changing your gs or looting skill points at behemoth/some wolf bases and you will notice the gs of items in shop, blueprint range and enemies going up...
So the most hardcore way to play is to use a single primary, single class, never loot skill points, if you really want the scorpion cqc (i do) then cool otherwise keep your class lvl as low as you can and go as slow as you can...
A few questions i saw
Yes at gs1 lvl 1 you can basically go anywhere, almost all sentinal camps and ouposts are leveled too you... Only exception is wolf and behemoth areas where there is a minimim level.
Yes drones dones do not start appearing until gs25-30. And by gs 50 theres one in every base so staying as low as you can as long as you can means your fighting humans as long as you can.. Which is the most fun... Those arial deones are more annoying than cliffracers in Morrowind.
Notice beetween the 3 there is no way to stop the power creep. At some point by lvl, by getting skill points from your class or missions the world level will increase... You can keep ot as slow as possible by keeping your gs as low as possible.. I put on my hat and 1 primary then keep all other items level 1 start items and customize my look.. Remember, you can buy items so their unlocked in customize and if never equiped itself your ok.. Ot unlocks in customize still and that does not affect the game...
Someone asked when I plan to upgrade. The game will tell you.. As you slowly xp lvl and get skill points all of a sudden in bases you will get the DANGEROUS AREA WARNING. except instead of 50 or 100 like a wolf or behemoth area it will say the area is lvl 18 and im lvl 13... That dosent mean your getting 1 shotted but it means your going to start getting harder bases so thats when i upgrade my gs a few lvls... I make sure to make all the weapons i want at the lowest level possible then everytime i check the blueprint screen if ive gotten a few skillpoints or xp lvled then i can make slightly better weapons... So that way i have a stash of 5 516 shorties lvl 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 instead of soing a giant jump from 10 too 20... Then i upgrade a lvl 1 start item with a shop or dropped item until im at the level where it says DANGEROUS AREA. That way im always at the minimum level but the ai doesnt have an unfair advantage and i avoid drones as long as i can
You can get your class too 10, hit xp lvl 30, beat a bunch of side mossions, faction missions and the main story and end up never passing gs 30.... Actually gs 30 seems a magic number you can just stay at and never see dangerous area pop up unless its a 200 wolf camp.
At gs30 even at lvl 30 drones are at the minimum not on every patrol and base so although there it feels like your mainly fighting people and a few have drones like you rather than your fight ing a sci fi drone army with some people...
Thats why i really want to know if ghost war or more important, raid rewards are account or save bound because i dont want every character to need to be gs 150+ just for a camo... Or finally the wolf helmet A and all the other cosmetics added.. I want one high lvl guy unlocking and raiding but my low level guy to stay low level as its far more fun..
Items affecting the game such as the rifles you pickup that are really high gs and such of course they should be saved bound but cosmetics i belive should be account bound as it dosent affect gameplay but does affect the players enjoyment of their new characters and encourages them to make more saves and try playing different. IT ADDS REPLAY UBI AND THATS WHAT YOU SEEM TO WANT... WE ALL MADE A HUHE NUMBER OF WILDLANDS SAVES BUT WOULDNT HAVE IF WE KNEW WE LOST ALL THE GEAR... SOME OF IT FOREVER MEANING NOW YOU BEAT THE GAME ONCE AND SONT ROUCH IT AGAIN UNTIL THE NEXT THINGS ADDED.... Wildlands we started new games and made our own rules or ways to play while waiting... You killed that... Its the opposite of what you want and how you cant see that is beyond me.. I dont know how to get ubi-bard in here to read this and slap them in the head with that fact butnif some knows and can GET HIM IN HERE.. Cosmetics -account wide, vehicles, knives or special editions of items sure save only then you gotta grind em yourself or buy with skell credits... Blueprints.. In the air.. I think account wide as even an m14 assault blueprint will make a lvl 1 version but if you want to make that a raid or high lvl reward whatever althou id rather get actual special guns as raid/high level save only rewards that auto lvl so you can use them for as long as you want....
Then when you do that and make the game FUN again people will want to buy items with ghost coins BECAUSE THE GAME IS FUN.. You wont need erowan filled with people killing immersion in the hopes of selling flyswatters helmet... In wildlands people used the store because the game was FUN, we felt we were getting value for our money and did not mind supporting the company to help them add more content. It dosent matter what you do. If the game isnt fun or you dont want to make new saves and loose 50 act 1 or 3 after the supposed fix... Then nobody will... And then nobody will have 300-400h gametime because you can only do so much with one save and if theres nothing left to do..... Your not goimg to sell ghost coins because people have no reason for cosmetics on a save thats dinished everything but starting a new character means your screwed out of 100-200 or god knows how many items.. Its like punishing experimenting...
Id love to do a medic only, panther only, assault only and marksman only run... Thats hours and hours playing the game.. But until the mass givout of act 1 and 2 items screw you if you thought i was gonna hit 50 4 TIMES JUST TO TRY AND HAVE FUN/PUT HOURS IN YOUR GAME.
someone needs to be fired or have there position changes.. And im sorry as they have bills and possibly a family but they are not doing their job right.
And now that your adding 100 otems to the raid... 2 acts worth of items.... If the raid was fun we would play the raid cause it was fun.. Not cause its a core and were forced to so it 5 times on 3 saves to get a camo then smash your controller... I like the free items but would rather have 75% of the items free or even 50... The other 50 in the store and not loot boxes.. Likenyou can choose what you want and you make the act grind cosmetics, raid and pvp cosmetics account bound rather than how it is now with everything save bound.. Id play more and be more likely to go, eh ive played 200h whats 20 bucks? Because the games FUN.... Seriously i dont know how you dont understand fun = more likely to play and more likely to use the srore as they feel its a fair entertainment value for your money...
Someone asked if you can replay thenold acts that are over... YES. if you notice, every chapter theres a main non timed mission which is the story mission.. For homsteaders its.. Drive with emmet and kyle, rescue lyla after that black family was attacked and they found the son, reacue kyle from hospital and now grab the geneticist who made the virus... On outcasts its the steal the boat of guns, rescue sigrid by interrogating the captian then gettimg the convoy, meet with sigrid and becker at rhe consteiction site and then defend sigrid as she brodcasts a message...the other dailie missions are fill in missions but those main story missions you can replay by choosing the faction.. Going to the chapter and despite the expired message you can press x or whatever button you press to retry a mission on your system... So your not outbof the loop.. And when you reload a mission you can talk to maria, holt and mads or the outcasts about the missionsuch as the roadblocks if you chose that mission and all the conversation options are available out of mission so after catchingnup you can talk to everyone about the eoadblocks to the sickness to the new doctor...
Best part? First time you replay an older chapter you get xp and 100BP. after that you get xp and skreds... Not sure how the oberhaul will change it bit you can follow the evolving faction missions and dont need to deal with the dailies.. I play the old ones over cause by the time chapter 4 started i forgot what chapter one was about...
So have fun and experiment as them breaking the game made it closer to wildands, alot more fun and open to playing different ways.. Panther only, 1 primary, only change perks and weapons at the 2 bases or a camp is friggin intense any dificulty... Add no fast travel and your running for your life and actually feel hunted...
Ot sucks we only have till act 3 because their "FIX" is probably to bring it back closer to breakpoint than wildlands like it is now... Force everyone to use 1 save or you loose all your cosmetics.. Peoplebsay oh its justs cosmetics.. Its not the point.. Poin is you may have ran 800 dailies to get it and then you just give it up? Even if some are now unobtainable? And if you want 3 saves with everthing thats 2400 useless fetch quest and you still have raid and pvp that is save bound not account so playing low level with the new skull wolf cosmetic or walker outfit or medic helmetbwhich is the only piece of star wars gear i like is impossible... You have to max your xp lvl and gs and deal with drone city as well as kill any options to play around cause good luck not hetting kicked from a raid using 1 primary....
JUST WHATEVER YOUR THINKING UBIPARIS.. DO THE OPPOSITE.. OR CALL THE STUDIO THAT MADE WILDLANDS.. I actually heqrd ubiparis lost breakpoint for failing so hard.. If its true I hope a semi competent studio got it.. Im not a game designer but dont need a deegree to know fun from not fun and fun = happy players and happy players = happy stockholders... Some of whom are us as were not kids anymore. Most of us have kids frig...
Yea i write novels... I live in Ottawa Canada (country capital) and though theres lots of internet providers... Theres only TWO companies that layed down lines.. Bell for DSL and Rogers for Cable... All isp's rent the lines off one of those 2.. Rogers just had a massive power outage/server crash that took down 1/4 of cable internet users in the city and surrounding area.. It was friggen great not being able to play single player.. You know.. Single player.... Wildlands was able to add events like oracle, predator and sam fisher and not need to be online always... Yeah we may all have internet but until we control the weather, stop denial of service attacks, make crash proof servers and a power grid that never goes offline than screw you and your stupid live service single player games no matter what stupid reason your PR person who probably knows less than us as a collective tries to sell.... Its useless, stupid, does nothing to stop piracy or cheating and creates situations like this where i was having so much fun with every other game i own that lets you play single player, you know... SINGLE PLAYER that I havnt bothered turning Breakpoint on.. Ill stick with RDR2, Ace Combat 7 and Wildland thanks... Console piracy is niche anyway and represents the majority of income... Want to lower piracy? Dont make sysyems that piss players off so much that they pirate it to not be connected online all the time and more important.. Make the bloody game fun so people want to buy it or dont feel ripped off after buying it.. Alot of guys that pirate a game... If its really good will go buy it to support the makers... They pirate since demos dont exist anymore and all the big companies are releasing The Watchbreakcryvision or god forbid battlefront 2 that actually made Disney step in and threaten to revoke the license... You lost the trust of us buying without trying.. You can tell because you add more and more and more reasons to preorder or buy a better version and yet less and less are doing it as more feel shafted...
