There are plenty of other people who agree who just aren't saying anything. Tt and I are exactly on the same page for example, he's just sick of hearing the same argument that doesn't really hold water. You say things just to say it. You don't use a defense or statistically analyze situations you just make blanket claims. I went through the effort of listing every card in the game, pointing to whether they can counter SOMM, talking about situations and the cost of his overpowered power and the cost of the base card without the power and the anti-counter to every single counter you bring up, which there are only 18 cards in the whole game who can actually have a chance to counter SOMM. You ignore a lot of things I say that you don't have a real response to. You use the turd sandwich response to everything. "My opponent is a liar and cannot be trusted".

You can stop responding if you want. I don't care if you keep defending SOMM and saying the same thing over and over and over while I actually respond to everything, give valid points, and may occasionally change a little in an attempt to make you understand what I am talking about but it's hard to keep coming up with new things when every one of your responses is "he has plenty of counters" "I do not have problems with SOMM" " A nerf to range would make SOMM non-viable." (Last one STILL HAS NO EXPLANATION). Also, a real argument does not need people behind you, so saying 100 people on discord all think SOMM doesn't need a nerf isn't really relevant. You just add random things that don't help your side. Everything I say is an attempt to defend my side and I give full detailed explanations to everything I say, and go into further explanation if you don't understand.

So go ahead and stop if you want. No-one is asking you to be the official SOMM defender. Do whatever you want. But I won't stop defending my side unless someone were to provide real counter-arguments that would make me realize that SOMM is much more counterable than I thought. 18/128 will always be too low of a counter to a card you MUST REMOVE.

BTW, this whole thread was started on the fact that someone other than me think's SOMM is overpowered, especially when paired with Santa.

Oh no need to get bent out of shape. We’re both rehashing the same posts now. We disagree and you’re a fine person I’m sure. And I’m sure the posting will continue. It’s just pretty played out.

But he still isn’t getting nerfed

The more level 3 SOMM (which is what happened to make this come out in the open) from F2P players, the most you will see him. The more he's played, the more he'll be hated.

Don't worry I am rarely bent out of shape. The time that happens will be if I were to attack you're person. That's often what you see in these situations. Besides, attacking people on other sides of the argument is a real cop out and doesn't help your side at all.

SOMM should have a range, double range of fireball for example and just that. It should not affect all field, that is too much.
Then, SOMM could cost 3, so we have a nerf and a buff at the same time. This would fix it.

YAY... it gives me the chance to spam as well...

REMOVE POPE TIMMY WHILE YOU ARE AT IT...

He should have remained at 7 energy or should have way less attack power... a level 4 has such strong attacks AND brings back a SOMM... #justsaying

Shield Dougie is very rare. At least in my experience.

Pope is very much overpowered and I feel like ever since he was 7 energy I still believed he should be reviving cards not at full attack/health. Fortunately with quick reflexes you can actually counter him with a spell and basically lose the game for the opponent. Also, he doesn't get paired with anything to turn him god mode. Everything with a warcry doesn't really get much pairing options, which makes them not quite as overpowerd as something with a recharge ability that you can basically spam with Santa/Hankey.

I actually feel like Santa and Hankey get a lot of unwarranted crap thrown their way. Besides SOMM, they don't really break the game with any other card.

    Oh please...

You are so lucky if your lightning hits... or even if it works recently.

Transformography is too slow to work in time as well.

I feel the time duration for Pope Timmy's resurrection has been reduced to a stage whereby if you do not have your lightning ready and waiting for Timmy, you will not get him in time.

Having player well over 20 000 matches... it is frustrating when the pope timmy survives.
