For Honor Year 4: My Checklist for Success? (9 points)

    #1 Free to play
Making the game f2p would reward you and your playerbase with what makes the game more fun for everyone: a larger playerbase, shorter queue times, more balanced matches!

    #2 Speedier, better balancing
By now, the community seems so incredibly capeable when it comes to the understanding of the game. I guess the developer should be even more so. So .. where is the problem in doing some decent balancing? Get a better balance, close the gaps between over- and underperforming heroes, stop "killing off" peoples mains for timeperiods as long as you did .. well, as you are doing up to now. Or just hire Freeze (or someone lile him). Not saying this guy is perfect. But he has a solid grasp of whats working and working well vs what is not so much.

    #3 Fresh Content
Though we can guess its pretty much confirmed, new heroes, armors and weapons will be a necessary addition. It will be already less nice when its just "choice of heroes" getting new gear with some others getting new variations (like spikes in new places, please don't!)

    #4 Ping Slider
People are not always satisfied with their matchmaking quality. A lot of not even triple A games could implement a ping selection in their menus. You can do it too. Just make people choose between some "realistic" values and give them the ability to turn it off.

    #5 Cross play
Mainly for the PC-guys. Will be even more games out next year. For Honor might loose some more players, especially if you do not go F2P and continue messing up the game balance.

    #6 Stadia Release
Honestly: I guess For Honor won't be a hit on Stadia. However, if you got crossplay, if you got stadia and some extra advertising (maybe at the expense of google?), it actually should not hurt.

#7 Announce another Addon (or FH2) for your DieHardFans out there. I mean if year 4 turns out to be a complete failure, even the die hard ones might leave. But .. I am slightly optimistic.

#8 WuLin as a real Faction. I mean I am Viking. Because I do not like to miss faction war rewards. Thats it. Because there is no real meaning to this besides: choose the winning faction and get rewards. Shake it up.

#9 Make contribution to the faction War meaningful
In short: Make a reward pool that rewards the highest tier for those players that played active, deployed their assets manually and smart (like not on the Volcano when it does not make any sense) that exceeds what is offered now. Add a few tiers to include those that play well and sometimes place their assets and add a tier for those that . well, do more then log in once a season. Who doesnt participate needn't get any rewards.

Well, thats my thoughts. Its rather general stuff and comes more from a "I wish for a healthy game" point of view than my specific, personal wishes. Those would be platform specific balancing and optimizations first, then hella lot of content, not caring about crossplay (because I am on PS4, hella lot of players still) but still stuff like a ping slider.
I wonder what others think about those, or what else Ubi should do to guarantee a smooth 2020 for the Game.

The game is already full of hackers using pixel bot programms to automatic guardbreak and help with parries. The cheat detect Ubisoft have is worthless.

Play Shinobi with stealth feat and start throwing max range guardbreaks from behind and look at all those "pro" players countering you and claiming it's because the shinobi makes a sound when he attacks. Ya right ... everytime they counter it... from behind ... while focused on someone else ... ya right.

Well, We.the.North is absolutely correct. Saying that there is no hacking or cheating in For Honor is definitely not true. Maybe on console there might be no chance to cheat but for PC it is 100% possible.
Maybe try google AmonDarkGod and you will find alot of Autoblock/GB-Scripts.

THIS - zero chance of cheating and game manipulation - might be a thing for cloud gaming. Now we just need some more competitors to Google and better internet, then we can be sure no one is cheating. Hmm. This is even half serious.

Anyway, free to play might be way better then you think. To start cheating, you needa be invested. I mean why would you go through the pain to check what's a troyan, what's a virus and what's the actual cheat only to be reported and banned afterwards? Guess that's for hardcore people.

Overall, a free to play model would give everyone who is only slightly interested s chance to try this game out. If only skins of those remain, it makes for a bigger player base.

About the cheating, It might be real that some are cheating, I mean how come a conqueror that I fight managed to parry every attacks that I throw but somehow unable to cgb when I gb him in, and FYI after I keep gb and attack him, he suddenly play like a totally new player, like come on there's no way he can stay perfectly in place and reacting to all my 400ms to 500ms lights and softfeint every single time.

Also reacting to softfeints is not hard its about making a correct read. Also if you softfeint a lot that becomes completely predictable thus reactable. Console or PC parrying softfeints etc being good at parrying and deflecting is not cheating. The game itself says that dont consider someone who is better than u to be cheating just because they are better than u
I don't think someone that able to parry hard/soft feint attack consistently, can't cgb, can't dodge, managed to parry 400ms lights that can come from any of the three directions even the hardfeinted consistently is someone who play the game legit way, he somehow always parrying everything yet he doesn't even know how to cgb and dodge, until I make him panic? and he suddenly start bashing and spamming lights like new players, of course I won after that but yeah, it is kinda weird and if I have to guess, they might be cheating.

I love playing like that, managed to catch a shinobi off-guard while playing with Hito in dominion match, for like three times I met them, I just light spam and then suddenly I dodge their kicks and parry lights, not consistently parrying lights, it gives me satisfactions and my team easier match to won.

There is always the chance he just tried to attack himself with heavies and accidentally parried your feints. Not saying there ain't no hacking noobs. But a good hacker likely would be decent at the game.

Judging from the free giveaway they did, making the game free is not that bad, at least for increasing the game playerbase since it is way too low to somewhat be considered healthy for PC.

I guess so, but as I've said, they parry all attacks that can be parried and counter attack, and just keep doing that until I think if they are this good, how about gb? which is surprisingly work against them and bashing is working too, after killing them for like twice in a row, they suddenly do something else other than staying still and parrying everything and start attacking like crazy(still parrying attacks), if I have to say little to no chance he accidentally parrying my attacks with heavy(I only saw them did lights and bash).
