Understanding about why this theme is used.

Let's go over why sci-fi is used in a higher level.

#1 if you spend money in this game and you wanted to level up a specific themes legendaries as fast as possible you would choose sci-fi. The reason for this is the promo packs that say a guaranteed legendary at 3 Buys or whatever... give you one of the only 2 legendarys compared to 1 out of 3 for the other themes. Just think about it your getting higher level legendaries for less money end the story.

#2 this is the only theme currently with a card like Terrance and Phillip except ranged and cheap I guarantee if another theme makes a card just like visitors or a reskin of visitors for example no one will use Syfy anymore. Or they'll continue to use Syfy for my number one reason but once sci-fi has three legendaries and another theme has a card like visitors thats it for Sci fi.

Enough with the chicken little act. Sci-fi has some of the best rares in the game and amazing legendaries, even if it is only 2. The sky won’t fall anytime soon. It’s a great theme now, why not be happy about it? I’d think that as someone who whaled out on the theme you’d be pleased.

At this point I realize you disagree with me views but no one forces you to read my posts and i guarantee at the end of the day the devs take my points into consideration.

Wow... you missed the point entirely. Chicken Little is a book, or rather a story. You know, the one about the chicken that ran around yelling that the sky was falling? It’s a story about alarmism and taking superficial evidence as causal fact. You can report me if you want, but it’s your grade school reading teacher who should be reprimanded.

Anyway, my point stands. Sci-fi is great for many reasons now, and I don’t think it will change any time soon. Enjoy it!

People screamed about how OP Terrance and Phillip are. Sounds like Sci-Fi theme is OP and needs to be nerfed.

Jokes aside. Sci-Fi is used throughout the ladder because it is a very versatile theme. Just about the entire deck is quite usable. It has a large amount of cheap units. Allowing users to recover very quickly. The legendaries are good. Mecha Timmy is very powerful when you know what you are doing. The spells are not bad. Awesom-O is a solid tank. BHK, Visitors, Bebe are all very good ranged units. Powerfist Dougie is the best Dougie in the game.

It's really no surprise that Sci-Fi is the most popular theme. And has been for just about ever.

I think SciFi as a theme is good as it is (except the third legendary ofc).
Like every other "race" it requests a certain playstyle and unit combination to be successful. Big advantage are the low unit costs and strong rare (enforcer, SWT, Visitors) and nasty (powerfist dougie, Mecha) units, that are, when played together with other themes (fan ->belf, Bradley, mys -> zen, Ninjew) extremely powerful. But on the other hand weak (arrowstorm, fireball), which is good and needed to accomplish a as-good-as-possible scissor -> rock -> paper game.

So spoken, the game - in my opinion - is better balanced than earlier this year (Adv/ Mys meta), with some units still being to powerful (bradley, Mosquito, Timothy to name some) adn makes much more fun to play than ever.

its high useage because of low cost spam.

Dont think it is balanced though, still DSR needing a tonedown, and a few cards needing cost increases to level off the low cost spam with high cost decks a bit

I think sci fi could use sum buffs. Maybe a new spell n def a 3rd legendary. Also no one else noticed my whole thing on buying packs to max put sci fi legendarys?
