Get ready for the apparel grind

With us only getting a key at every 3 caches, it looks like we are in for the grind agents

A cache is +/_ 450k xp. You'll need 90 to complete the event so thats:

90 x Discovery Raids (If you run it as a clan)

    140 x Heroic missions (They're roughly 280k)

    450 x Normal missions (at a generous 90k)

And you get like 3 keys for the weekly projects...

    Good luck

I think this should be a thing every single month to give ppl a reason to play, its getting slow as heck, i just ran a whole challenge mission a lone which 3 weeks ago would have been a full random 4 man team as soon as I put it up, its been slow for a week or 2, more they give for ppl to do better chance game ha players

Also good luck to you getting all the boxes

Who cares about apparel?? What we need is actual NEW content to play. 8 months into the game and all they came up with is 1 raid and the same boring invasion week after week since launch..

i guess that's smthg that depends on the player..

sure. .you can ask the devs to move at your pace...
but we all know the devs are really pacing us...
if you can somewhat tolerate moving at the devs pace.. then you have a longer time horizon in mind and understand that the time you put in will go towards what this game will become a year from now..
Apparel cache events I think, go towards this... but who knows.. maybe those "investments" i make will still be fruitless if the "end product".. what we hope this game will look like later on.. still ends up looking like what it does now.

I have sunk in most of my gaming time into Division 1 since I picked it up from Black Friday sale.. and I mean comparing Div 1 to Div 2.. is sort of unfair ..as Div 1 is a done deal.. after many years of iteration and refining... but Div 1 for a game that's many years old..is incredibly entertaining for me as a newbie to it.
So maybe Div 2 can look to be well polished by the time it has matured as long as Div 1 has had.. but who knows.

For now.. i consider myself in it for the long haul.. but we can nvr be sure what tomorrow holds.

For sure new content would be awesome and 2000% better. It's kinda why I highlighted the grind. Expecting your player base to run 450 old missions just for some vanity items is kinda ridiculous.

    Tips:
*Equip Utility mods that grant extra percentage to certain types of XP such as weak point kills, headshot kills, etc.
*try to land headshot kills as well as just about anything else that gives you that little extra Xp.

That should shorten the time needed to get the apparel caches in relation to the event.

Yup got a plus XP build for this but they nerfed the xp% on newer drops it seems. Plus a slight gimp to your gear when not in a group can slow you down a bit imo. But hey ever bit is going to help with the grind

I still think they should be including these events into a Global Events sort of structure. Or bring back Global Events entirely. For the life of me, I don't understand why they haven't introduced Global Events in TD2, since they always captivated so much interest and so many players.

    How many caches are there?

You get 3, plus 2x 9 keys from projects, is already 21 keys, not including the XP ones you get during those projects.

Last time there where 40 caches if I remember correctly?
