I'm not quite sure what if you are looking for a skin that is tan colored or a tempalte with tan colors in it, but here is a link to servals tempalte for the P-47 http://www.simmerspaintshop.com/forums/cat5.html&page=3 it will have OD and Grey layers that will help you. Changing the colors of OD an Grey to Tan should be a snap.

Well, you color approaches the tan color you mean good.
Actually that "tan" color is a worn Olive drab, which is more green.
If you go for this old look I'd make it more spotty, since paint does not fade equal everywhere. This Olive drab often fades most on the top surfaces then on the sides and other places that might get some shade.
Here two skins I based on color and black/white pictures of the actual aircraft. Note that this scheme has dark green spots at the wing edges, which the P-47 normally did not have.
And here a faded B-25.

2 things if I may......
Tone down the panel lines a little more....
and where the OD meets the underside grey it shouldn't have such a stragiht edge look to it. The paint was done by hand with a Air Gun, not stencils.

did they mark out where the line was going to change? anyway, yes you are right on the panel lines. they kind of stand out. have any tips on how i should do those, besides change the opacity?

also want to know some tips for weathering, since i will be flyin' this bad boy in the pacific.

for lighter panel lines you will want to lower the opacity of the lines.
As to weathering, there are many ways to do this. Each skinner has there own way. You muight want to check out the tutorials here http://www.simmerspaintshop.com/foru...m33-tutorials/. Now these are done with certin programs in mind but they translate fairly well to what ever program you are using.
Take a look and if you have any Q's feel free to ask in the fourms.
