When playing Origins, if I switch and watch Netflix for a while, then switch back to Origins, there is no audio whatsoever.
The only way to get it back is to close the game completely then restart it.
Power mode is set to instant on so I don’t have to restart my games after being off.
Anyone else have this issue?
Yeah, I had the same problem on my PC, but I don't think it's UBISOFT's fault. It is the consoles inability to release the soundcard in Netflix. If I watch a movie, and then I try to watch an online YouTube video, without restarting my browser, sometimes I get no sound. There might be a setting in the console, like there was on my PC, telling my movie player that it doesn't have priority for the sound. I forget the exact terminology. It might be a good question for Microsoft.
But, not closing your Origins might be a good way to crash your save game file. Then, you would have to start a new game. I've heard some people having that problem and it is worse, if you lose dozens of game play hours.
