So now that we have unranked, casual, in my opnion, is a mode just for having fun. With that in mind, I truly think Ubi should change a lot of things in the mode.
For example, turning off friendly fire. Friendly fire was on in casual because it was the only mode that beginners could play, so it made sense to get them to get used to the friendly fire. However, we now have unranked AND newcomer playlists, which is more than enough for players to practice the game. I think turning off friendly fire would make casual a whole lot more fun to play, since people are trigger-happy when it comes to teamkilling in casual.
Anyhow, that was just an example. The thing that I truly would love to see in casual is to shorten the amount of waiting in the mode.
There's a lot of waiting in this game, but it's completely understandable, because we all understand that it's a competitive game and people need to plan their attack carefully. In casual, however, the waiting becomes completely useless and boring, since it's not a competitive mode. So my suggestion is to lower the timer for everything. For example, the timers for these actions would go as follows:
5 seconds picking an operator
10 seconds prep phase
1:30 minutes rounds
^ These are just examples.

A separate secure gamemode called Rush on a small map like house would be kinda fun problem is nobody could reinforce well with that kinda timer and defenders would have a significant advantage as all defenders have to do is stay put.
A 5 second timer on op picks is horrible I sometimes spend 15 seconds just strategically picking one.
Id like casual the way it was before aadd but a new gamemode like that certainly would be fun.

The RFF system isn't working
Either that or make it mirror immediately back to the person firing or hell even significantly reduce FF down to rounds dealing say 1-10% of their normal damage just like you can in custom games with health and such and I think that would give sufficient time to kick someone.
I think my first recommendation is the best
I don't want FF removed because it will negatively affect gameplay but having it does the same
Folks won't worry about how or where they shoot it'll mess up the whole realism aspect and during matches of enemy team FF is actually beneficial and removal will just make this another spray and pray title it's nearly there as it is.
