That's plenty for me, considering before you could go a whole night and not even see a brand you were trying to get.
You was seeing way more then I. For missions this weekend, I was seeing about 10 per mission. Those items about 2/3rds non targeted loot and about a 1/3rd of it was. Out of that 1/3rd, it was all scrap. Used that scrap to go and craft more scrap. So that overall, I lost time, energy, and patience for no nothing. As for lvl 4 CPs, I wasn't seeing any loot to keep and most of it wasn't targeted loot. I actually saw more targeted loot running around the LZ or DZ, just wiping out NPCs.

Ran Potomac Event Center on Heroic today in a group of 4 people. 95% of the enemies were red or purple and barely any loot or targetted loot dropped. Something is broken.

It has been on steady decline since release, nd it is not just my or your imagination. This game is to the point were I might take a break and never come back.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I don't believe in changes in the RNG.

I don't rule out that RNG might be weighted, but if it is, I don't think someone at HQ is tinkering with the controls and change it overnight. I don't see the point of that, and I don't think they programmed randomness, only to mess with it afterwards to annoy the playerbase.

Also, to really notice changes you need way bigger sample sizes than just a couple of sessions. I'm talking about hundreds, if not, thousands of doing the same mission to have any idea of averages.

I've actually seen that a few times. I reset the mission when I noticed the enemy types/counts weren't what I was expecting for a heroic, which fixed it. Definitely seems to be a weird scaling bug that pops up occasionally, but it's been rare for me. No more than 3 times in my hundreds of mission clears.

It may not be intentional, it could be a side effect of their codes. It seems pretty common since last update though.

It just sounds improbable to me. The RNG is one of the main components of the game, if it is faulty, I guess it would have been noticed earlier, and it would have been acknowledged by now.

Maybe I'm really naive here, but I just don't buy all the conspiracy theories.

So I have about 300ish hours of targeted looting and yeah that sample size is more than enough for me to tell that it has declined. The weekend of release I was getting more than I am currently. It is very likely that it might NOT be intentional, but that does not make it untrue. Like every time something breaks in game all we hear about is how complex coding is, and we need to be patient.

So with every "patch" I would say that anything is possible since it is so complex....

But they fixed the EB dropping in the discovery raid in record time while the Blue Armor thing lasted for over a month. I mean remember the blue Armor glitch? (dudes running around with close to 1M armor).

See, I disagree with that. You need to compare your data at least with dozens of people that also have 300 hours, and then still you have a small size.

I have a database of over 4 million poker hands played, and there's variables in them that you wouldn't normally see if you compare that with another database with the same sample size. That's what can happen with chance. You can roll a dice 100 times, and it can land on 6 half of the time, it's unlikely, but it is possible. Roll it another million times, and I doubt it will still be a 6 half the time. That's my point.

I really don't disagree with you that you see a decline in drops, that's your experience and I believe you're speaking the truth. I'm just saying, that in the long run, this games RNG will turn out to be fair.
