From the past week I realized I haven't seen a single deck out there that does NOT consist of sci-fi theme.
It started being weird,
then irritating
and now I am bored to hell.

Whether all these people try to exploit the Mind Control-Change of hearts ( that imo you should disable or turn off the whole game until you fix it )
or it was always the most beloved deck especially now that every theme got nerfed in past months except sci-fi that got buff'
the outcome is that there are over 20-30 games in a row, one whole week that I keep record of my games and every single opponent is playing sci-fi.
Where is the diversity ?
Why must I always have to deal with ******* Visitors, BHKyle, mind control effects etc ?
I don't mind seeing sci-fi the most strong theme ( yet again )
but I would like somewhat equal opportunities and fun mechanics from other themes too so that people will want to play something else.

Yeah, it does get a little old playing against the same deck again and again but I tell myself that it’s also because of all the sci-fi events lately. 48 hours earlier this week and now a sci heavy card usage means everyone is playing it, even if they aren’t jerks exploiting the bug. I mean, sci is my weakest theme and even I have been playing a lot of it this week. Glad to have the event finished and back to my main themes now.

At least sci is undeniably really good again, so hopefully some of the complaining will die down now.

and when you don't have these events, its just fantasy everywhere, done the event and back to my main deck which can beat the annoying spams but playing SH/Sci was so annoying.

I actually built myself a 6 point deck, and doesn't even have sci-fi in it! :P

I've got 4 cards receiving boosts, Zen and Hercules to 5 max, Mackey to 5 max due to T&P who are also an event card, and Princess to 6 max. The other event card I'm using, Nathan, is already a part of my main, so no boost needed. He's already level 6 max.

the thread is about mundane gameplay, end of last season was stacked heavier then incan craig meta to fantasy, not complaining about it, just stating facts.
