I hit 7933 last night and immediately got knocked down by a level 25 and lost 70 points. In the next match, I lost to a level 24 for 42 points. Then got matched up against several 23-24 NK spamming level 4 legendaries and 5 epics until I was back down to 7700 or so.

I’ll say this: without a doubt, if I was running level 4 legendaries and 5 epics I would be top 250. That isn’t a brag. People running level 4 legendaries at 7k rank or whatever honestly deserve to be punished for manipulating the ladder to their advantage (deranking). That’s the problem - RL isn’t pursuing this at all and it’s going to kill the ladder entirely if they don’t do something.

Figured it was a good time to revisit this post since absolutely nothing has changed. In fact, it's got worse. Again, with ZERO repercussions people will continue to derank. Thanks for the false hopes. Any more lies from the admins here? How hard is it to tell that a person with level 5 legendaries below 7k rank is obviously manipulating the rank system? How many reports about a person deranking do you need before action is taken?

6500 rank has lvl 4 legendaries thats normal. Nothing strange about that. Typically lvl 4 legendaries and lvl 4 epics and i see that all the way to 7000 but lvl 5 legendaries and lvl 5 epics wouldnt b norm

It has gotten some attention, but for sure not fixed completely yet. I know one notorious deranker who people were complaining about on reddit a week ago got a ban, but who knows how many super obvious cases are still floating around out there.
