High ping issue after every new season launches | Forums

Hello everyone,

I am facing high ping issue every time when the new season start for R6. I play on SEAS server and normally the ping is around 100-135 ms. But currently my ping is 250+ ms after the new season launched. This is happening since last two seasons. Seems like server relocation issue ?

Any way to fix it ? Or I have to wait for a while like last seasons when ping gets fixed after a while?

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing connection issues. Please make sure you have completed these steps including port forwarding. Also, double check that you have a static IP and are connected to the correct regional data centre. If the issue persists, create a ticket at support.ubi.com and provide the following:

- Screenshot of the forwarded ports.
- Screenshot of the UPnP settings of the router.
- Screenshot of the trace route of your connection.

This will assist the specialist in diagnosing the problem.

Hi guys, im having this problem after new update. My internet speed is 90mb download and 40mb upload, my pc is high end, my in game ping oround 45-55, and all that same i had before but now if enemy player shot in my direction im geting killed very strange, sometime i fast peek window and i go 3 meter away from window and i drop dead !!! how can someone kill me from that window if im already deeply in cover!!??? Before i didnt have this problems, if i peek and get bulet in the head i instantly die, all normal all ok. but this is faking stupid. Also i noticed that i started to lose gunfights and that enemy take almost no dmg even though i almost empty my magazine in them, then i started to aim not directly in their heads but more left or right depends of direction they going and i started to wining fights, so that mean that servers are somehow late i dont know, i have i8700k cpu, 1080ti gpu, 16gb 3200hz ram...good internet, it must be ubisoft servers problem cos enemies didnt had high ping. pls check this cos game is unplayable. i droped from platinum 3 to silver 1 and i wasnt silver rank 3 years already. i didnt lost my skill all of the suden....my mouse also high end, viper ultimate...pls fix this ****!!!

Lately I have been experiencing what I'm gonna call a bug. Basically, randomly in a match I will not be able to move and will be stuck in place for no reason. If I try to move, I will be rubberbanded back to my spawn point. As far as I know, there are no ways to trigger this manually. The only way to fix this is by restarting the whole game, potentially losing a round. I haven't been the only one experiencing this, since everytime I do, another player in the same match ends up being stuck in place. I'd really like to get a response for this since I haven't gotten any yet and saw no one talk about this.

This is an issue I'm unfamiliar with and you are the first person to report it from what I have seen.

- How often would you say this happens?
- Does it happen in Quick Match, Unranked, Ranked, Terrorist Hunt, or all?
- How high is your ping on average in a match?
- Do you receive any yellow or red connectivity icons showing at the top-right? Either before or after the issue occurs.

The frequency of this is unsure, sometimes its 3 or 4 times per match, 2 games out of 4 or just not happen at all for around 6 games.
My ping is usually around 30-60ms, sometimes it may reach 80. When the bug does happen, my ping is the same as a normal game that doesn't happen.
I have been getting Host Connection Icons and it flutuates a lot. Might go from non-existant to yellow to red in a matter of split-seconds. I do get this Icon often in the past week, but havent seen any association with the bug since it shows up even when the bug doesn't happen. I doubt the icon is related to the rubber-banding.

Considering you are actually rubber banding and bouncing back, connectivity troubleshooting will be the best place to start.

It certainly seems like quite a specific issue, but we need to get the bases covered.

I am not the only one to experience this: Teammates and enemies do too. I've tried most of those options in the troubleshooting area and none worked.

I just had the same issue. The best way to describe it is that when spawning as an attacker, I get a small circle about 2 meters in diameter in which I can move freely. If I try and move any further than that, I am rubberbanded back to the spawning position. My teammates claimed that it had been happening to other people, too.

This is not a connection issue. 30 minutes prior to the game where this happened, a Comcast technician was at my house and said all my wiring was good, and gave me a new router to solve other problems I've been having, which it did. This does not happen in any other game.
