Just Dance 2017 Manual IP no longer an option?
Hello,
I used to play by connecting my pc and the controller by manually inputting my IP address but after the last update the app no longer gives me the option. Is there anything I can do? I can only get the app and game working this way.
Why was this removed, I've seen reviews that mention this on Google Play so I'm not the only one disappointed by the change.
The option to log into your profile is also missing from the app. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue.
I can see the app was last update on the 24th October, have you experienced this issue since then?
I have reported this to the dev team to investigate.
Can you provide a screenshot of the main screen that shows there are no options to login to your profile or with your IP address.

Thanks for the images provided.
Are you able to provide some screenshots or a video in game to show that the game does not present a pairing code to enter into your app.
Have you also tried selecting the option for 'mobile device' when asked how you would like to play?

This all that happens in Just Dance 2017. No code ever pops up.

Thanks for the screenshot. Just to confirm do you have your mobile device and computer connected to the same WiFi network?
The dev team have confirmed that the manual IP address entering has been disabled since last update of the app due to security guidelines. The pairing code feature will only work with Just Dance 2020.
For previous versions of the game you just need to press the start button when the Just Dance Controller app first loads and then it should search for a mobile device that is connected on the same WiFi network as your computer.

I am sorry to hear this, InspekUrGadget. If at all possible, I'd recommend ensuring that the game and Uplay PC are not being blocked by your firewall / antivirus, and also test the game on another network to see if you are able to connect.
Should you not be able to play still, I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience of these changes to the application. I hope that you will be able to return to dancing someday.
