I've been trying to join my friend's lobby, but it says every time that we've failed.
I've tried all the connectivity fixes that it lists on the site but I still cannot join. I just wanted to know if it's because I'm on my university's network/ethernet.
Hello MardroGameCZE and FatPandaLuke,
To address connectivity issues in For Honor on PC, I'd recommend that you complete both our Uplay PC connectivity troubleshooting and our dedicated connectivity troubleshooting for For Honor on PC.
I'd also recommend reading our support article regarding NAT types in For Honor here, and checking your own NAT type. It may be that you are unable to connect to your friends because of such restrictions.
To MardroGameCZE specifically - I moved your post into this thread as it is for a similar issue and the thread you had originally commented on was unrelated. I hope that you don't mind!
To FatPandaLuke specifically - if you are using a public network such as a university / halls network, it is highly likely that your connectivity will suffer, not only because of the number of people accessing the same network but also the local / network-wide restrictions that may be in place from the administrators. I would speak to whoever is responsible for providing your broadband / internet and see if anything can be done on their end to help improve your connection, such as implementing port-forwarding for your device(s).
Let me know if you require any further assistance, and if your connectivity issues persist after all of the recommended troubleshooting has been completed!![]()
