Far Cry 5 Snowshoe error on Windows 10

I'm getting this error EVERY time i log into the game. I neither have the will nor patience to change keyboard settings every freaking time. I'm left hander and i'm used only to move about my character with cursors.

This is what i DID to tackle the problem (as decribed in the article found here - https://windowsreport.com/far-cry-5-error-snowshoe/) but NOTHING works :

    1.Flash DNS.
    2.Verify game files integrity
4.Add antivirus exception for Far Cry 5
5.Update uPlay and run as admin
    6.Reinstall Far Cry 5

I didn't do this step : Delete Saved games and change the save location as i COULDN"T FIND CPY.ini file in the Documents. Where is it?

Finally, how come that after so many months after the game release such bug exists? I paid for the extra Uplay+ month and i'm starting to regret it.

CPY is a pirate group. Thus "CPY.ini" only exists in the illegal versions of the game which were pirated by CPY.

Well, as i stated previously i currently have Uplay+ and dowloaded this game legally from Uplay+ gamebase (My subsription is linked to karol_kacperczyk@op.pl) Still, i would really appreciate any kind of advice on the above problem. May it be possible that after the release of newest Win 10 version (1909) the issue with Snowshoe resurfaced? Lastly, are you implying that Snowshoe error was mainly connected to pirate versions of Farcry5?

Ok, so you don't care even though those forums are "continously checked by Ubi officals" as i read. You don't have to walk a mile for the customer even though your gain and profit have slumped this year. MIDDLE FINGER towards you as well.

This isn't a technical help forum. It's for game discussion.

The FC5 technical help forum is here:
    https://forums.ubisoft.com/forumdisplay.php/1831-PC

Or if you think the issue may be because of Uplay+ then the technical support forum for that is here:
    https://forums.ubisoft.com/forumdisp...Player-Support

Also, have you opened a support ticket with Ubisoft yet?
    https://support.ubi.com/en-US

Maybe you should try those things before you rant about your problem in completely the wrong place.

This is the place to which i'm being redirected after clicking on Help and then Forum link in the game section of Facry5 in Uplay Client. If i wanted to get help for ANY other game from Ubi i would follow the same route proposed by them as it would seem the quickest and most logical way to do.You surpised me a lot by saying that it is "completely wrong place" for seeking advice...
But anyway, i understand that you did what you could to help and that opening a ticket is the only solution left for me (not counting on that much though).

Ah, Uplay+ may infact run a different executable (from the binplus folder instead of the bin one). Maybe try to allow that executable access to the network?

Also, please report the error code referenced with the Showshoe error. There are multiple, and each may point to a different problem.

I gave the executable from binplus folder administrative rights and allowance for connecting to public and private networks (in Windows Firewall settings).
Still getting the same error - Snowshoe EA8151F. You might move this thread to technical section as i already re-wrote my post there (or close the new one)
I submitted a ticket to Ubi CC as well with Dxdiag and Msinfo32 files. Hopefully i won't have to wait until my subscription is over.

I'm not 100% sure what that error code means, but some people seem to have worked around it by disabling Windows Defender.

If that helps, it could be related to either the firewall not allowing internet communication, or the Antivirus/Threat Protection blocking the game from saving config/ini/savegame files in the uplay folder?

THANKS! Disabling Windows Defenfer prior to launching the game caused that i'm no longer seeing error code upon login. As long as Defender is disabled i can log and re-log to the game with setting intact. The problem is though that Windows Defender re-activates by itself after some time. Something is telling me that being inside the game while it re-sets will reset the keyboard layout to default vaules upon the next login. But maybe i'm wrong. Will check that later.
