[QUOTE=solokiller;14681638]How about just porting over Wildlands cosmetics. That includes multiple skull balaclavas.

I'm always for sound ideas. Also there's a great hunting jacket and a lovely fleece jacket.I wore these things without taking them off, and I'm very upset about their absence from Brekpoint. But it looks like nobody cared and they took the best things from the beautiful game. Let's hope. We have two tough years ahead of us. Perhaps the best equipment will be added over time to maintain interest in the game.

    hyperbole? really now?

silence is golden because while I can differentiate between different topics and understand inter-departmental information flow, some people can't and will go "WHY DO YOU BOTHER WITH GHOST PICTURES WHEN THE GAME IS STILL BROKEN!!??!". to which your solution is telling everyone every minute every day, for weeks, "I got no more info about that at this moment, please check back later" - which would only have a positive effect on people that like being stuck in a phone queue.

their "scope and ability" doesn't matter when people are pissed, especially when they are literally the interface between the company and said people. same reason supports gets a lot of unjustified **** flung it's way for stuff they can't do anything about.

    Hey guys,
Ya know, UbiBard is only a middle man. He seems level headed and able to take some flak in this flak infested game. His job, is being a middleman of sorts, and keeping the forums, probably a few of them, under some semblance of control. Aside from angst and anger, this Breakpoint forum has some pretty decent posters. Disappointed the game didnt live up to expectations.

    Adios,

    Tex

A lot of things are below me, but this is not one of them: I told you so.

Look at he forums, Bard has given them nothing but a little bit of engagement, and we are eating it up.

I do understand what you are saying, and while it is always a definitely a high possibility, dealing with that is part of the job. The Community Reps have to find a way to manage it, and you can't manage by literally not managing.

@Bard, good job. Have you been able to sink any significant amount of playtime into Wildlands or Break-pileoflies-point?

The team should be providing an update tomorrow. See the announcement here.

    Offline Play?
I don't have further intel on this. I'll continue to make the team aware of the concerns I'm seeing in the community regarding offline play.

    Bugs?
Currently working to get that Known Issues list updated, and as I've said in the past, we're working to get this updated for you more frequently. As the team had mentioned in the Moving Forward article, they are working to improve the overall state of the game. As soon as I know more I'll let you know.

Customer Compensation for Ubi selling us half a game?
Please refer to your DMs for this.

Hopefully, this addresses some of the concerns you've brought forward. I will continue to be dedicated to sharing all concerns and feedback I'm seeing in the community with the team. Sometimes, I may not always have updates, but that doesn't mean I'm not still working hard to help the team make Breakpoint a better Ghost Recon experience for all our players.
A lot of errors and bugs are not in the known issues list. The altitude crash issue that is around since weeks or the screaming when doing a headshot, just to name two.

I've played through FS and I'm going back and forth between playing Wildlands and Breakpoint. I'll go back and play even more of them as well. I know they may not be "supported" but playing the older Ghost Recon games in the series is the only way to get a clear frame of reference on where you're coming from.

I saw you post that in another thread. Enjoy the journey, there are ups and downs with every title, but when you get caught up it's clear to see that "one of these things is not like the others".

Why is a guy with no experience with former ghost recon titles even a community mgr?

Shouldn't the community manager be someone with a few GR titles under their belt? What are the prerequisites? A pulse and an internet connection. Why is this guy Ubibard a community manager that has to go back and play Wildlands and other Ghost titles to understand the complaints?

" but playing the older Ghost Recon games in the series is the only way to get a clear frame of reference on where you're coming from."

    Disconnect? Anyone?

The person with a background of involvement with this Forum a history of GR experience and the ability to be one of the consumers is the candidate for the position of community manager because that is the essence of what it take to be a manager of The Ghost Recon Community.

Why are we forced to liaise with a person who doesn't eat breath and sleep this franchise?

Ubibard just created his profile last month and has 74 post. The community MGRs should have forum presence dating back to the early 2000's with 100's if not 1000 of post engaging with the community.

Putting someone in that position who only recently started engaging with the community, (based on the age of his profile) Says one thing loud and clear to me, Ubisoft want's you kept in the dark and dealing with someone who really isn't passionate about this franchise.

I guarantee you that everyone in this thread can post a request for Ubibard to look into that they won't ever receive a definitive answer in any reasonable amount of time.

it's almost as if Ubisoft seeks out people with mediocre concern with the franchise and a lack of passion for the game and puts them in these positions as gate keepers.
A real community leader that rose up from the rank and file of this community would be too much for them to deal with because he wouldn't be yes manning enough.

Alas we are stuck with the same no news and non actionable responses from people placed in these position to "head us off at the pass" While Ubisoft struggles to put this game as far behind them as possible.

I am currently suffering with the dreaded Whalers 00301 error so i can't play the game at all, I am booted almost as if on cue 15 minutes into every attempt since the release of TU 1.0.3.1 with no resolution in sight. Been told by support that it is on my side of the connect after I have been playing the game with no connection issues since beta and early release. 8 hour sessions daily until the most recent update and now all of a sudden I am being told it is my connection and to port forward, create a static ip, reset network. Move my PS4 IP into a DMZ, contact my ISP, and all kinds of nonsense because they cannot repair an issue with their crappy server farm and net code.

These community managers are a joke and so is the support of this company currently. People keep trying to tip toe around the issues with this game and respect the gate keepers on this forum when we paid for a product that does not function as intended on numerous occasions and all we get is excuses and updates that break more things than they fix.

Why is it that I can play as many games of Rainbow 6 Siege and Wildlands as I want but am getting kicked offline in Breakpoint???

    FIX WHALERS 00301 . FFS.

So far you have played the 3 worst GR games that have been out on consoles. Shame youl never experience the multiplayer of GR2 and Summit strike.
