heya peeps
i have played as an shinobi for a while now, this character is pretty awesome in combat the only thing i realy hate about him is his healthpole.
his attacks are not that high to but hey we got planty movementspeed. but.... im about to drop him in pvp, it's not fun playing him anymore. every other characters feels like a BOSS when fighting with a shinobi! One good hit and you have a little bit health left. please DEVS give the shinobi a bit more health or armour. i know im not the only one asking for this sure there are more. please consider my question here. i realy love the shinobi. greetz

I personally played shinobi a lot back on console and some on PC. The guy is definitely harder to play but I don’t think he is the weakest in the game currently. In a diamond 4 level shinobi isn’t a hero that cant be played effectively in ranked duels due to all the nerfs. But just like Cent and jorm shinobi shines in 4v4 with his ranged GB and ranged heavies. You just gotta play lot safer with the hero. I will agree tho that he needs some buffs since he does feel like a solid D tier in duels.

I think centurion and nobushi are weaker, but shinobi is not far behind.

I disagree about them. Orochi is not that weak, he has his delayed 400ms lights and zone, very high damage, the only thing he needs is an unblockable. Zhanhu is okay in duels, excluding his deflects.

Well, in high level play the light might be read-parried, but if you anticipate it, you can throw a heavy.

Don't know who is that, but you can't parry everything, you have to decide if you will go for a light or a heavy.

Shinobi ist in a ultra bad state because he is not fun as long as he is as easily punishable with the low health pool he has now. He can turtle and thanks to his aforementioned strengths, he can dish out severe damage. But only if he gets those parry's.

Comparing him to Orochi or Zhanhu feels difficult because of various reasons. First, shinobi has a kit that potentially can easily make him great. But as easily overpowered. That's the problem Ubi seems to have with him. Orochi suffers his same old problem of no valid opener. Zhanhu does low, high risk damage thus seems to be mathematically the most disadvantaged hero.

So in it's current state, shinobi is an outlier that doesn't really fit within the roster and we can all guess Ubi knows this. We can't guess what or even if they will address those issues. But the potential for one amazing hero is there. It will take more then fixing a few numbers though to make shinobi work again.

Not the weakest. He can deflect, and his parry into a light is pathetic but still useful. Shinobi's saving grace is his nail bomb trait. I have killed 4v1 ppl with it quite often. As it takes down even lawbro in 4 seconds of bleeding.

And is ok like musha if ya just turtle. The weakest by far is PK. Worst of the sins, and has the worst traits and tool kit

What, PK? She is decent now. By no means perfect or strong. But she is playable. Her traits are ok-ish as well. Further, she isn't that special snowflake that is shinobi where no one dare touches and buff him nowadays due to fear of making him op - or even more up.
Overall, PK is a slightly better orochi. Two of the main reasons: if you get baited into a Dodge attack, it doesn't hurt as much as if you were orochi. Her animations are harder to read. Orochi attacks with sword in one hand only, that's a light. Two hands, heavy. That's as easy as it gets I'd say.

Pk is still haunting the devs a bit with her old undisputed number 1 place, to the point they were afraid to make her 13 damage light opener 15 again and instead made it 14, despite the fact she was clearly the weakest of that time.

Orochi is not weaker than pk though. While pk dodge attack does not give a light parry, you can dodge her dodge attacks easily for a guardbreak, and they have a very high gb vulnerability window, plus they don't chain. Their only redeeming quality is damage. Pk has smaller overall damage than orochi, uses far more stamina, has worse gapclosers, worse punishes and far worse feats. Just in duels, they feel even with pk having a slight offense advantage and a slight defense disadvantage, but most assassins outshine pk in 4v4. With the exclusion of shinobi, who is not a real assassin, he is a hybrid with broken support tools and terrible offense tools.
