Patch v1.0.3.0 (November 10, 2019)
Stamina
- Increased the base stamina by 66%
- Increased the stamina re-gen speed by 75%
- Reduced the stamina consumed when sliding by 50%
This video link below posted by Ubisoft shows the stamina differences in comparison. Note that this video does not include additional passives or perks that can increase stamina regeneration and stamina maximum further.

Here is another video explaining stamina before the patch. I'm sure you all would love the survival aspect it brings. Must Watch.
There are perks, items, and passives already available to increase stamina. Using these attributes will increase your stamina in ways the developers did not foresee - making stamina and endurance extremely minor / obsolete mechanics in the game because in v1.0.3.0 you have too much stamina! We all know as players that these listings below are all commonly used. There isn't evidence that the developers play their own game, so here it is:
Passive:
- Speed Climber: +20% climbing speed
- Tireless: -40% staminia cost
- Stamina Regen Speed: +40% Stamina Regen Speed
- Mountainer: +75% slide control
- Water Filter: Fill Water, +2 Water Canteen Capacity
Perk:
- Burst Forth +10% Movement Speed, +50% Stamina Regen Speed
Consumables;
- Ration Lv2, Lv3
Armor increase stamina maximum too!
Now skim through this gameplay footage, and observe that stamina is nothing to worry about in v1.0.3.0. Survival aspects involving stamina you've seen prior to the patch are basically stripped away from the game.
Stamina boosts have negatively impacted PvE and PvP gameplay.
PvE
- never have to drink water
- no longer need to fill water canteen
- hardly ever (never) tumble down mountains due to depleted stamina
- hardly ever (never) have stamina induced injuries
- no longer see animations associated with these injuries
- never get exhausted
- never need to rest at bivouac due to exhaustion
- never take breaks between stamina demanding actions (diving, rolling)
- never need to rest at bivouac to increase stamina
- Armor increasing stamina can make stamina feel even more infinite than it already is
PvP
- no longer need to stop sprinting
- can sprint from one end of the map to the other in ~ 30 seconds
- no longer need consumables that increase stamina
- no longer are impeded by demanding actions like rolling or diving (diving and rolling are not needed because sprint speeds are so fast, it just 100x better to run away)
- no longer tumbling down hills
- matches can become a giant speed run
Many posts and thread state that we did not have complaints with stamina and did not request such boosting change. Please voice your opinions related to stamina and help the community save Breakpoint's survival mechanics!
Thank you
I played all three betas... I'm assuming you think that playing before the change gives your opinion in the poll more weight but the adjustment was made due to direct feedback from the betas so saying there wasn't complaints is just a false way to support your opinion. I'm not saying you're not entitled to your opinion you just shouldn't try to validate it with falsehoods.Originally Posted by GoalLine Go to original post
I personally am fine with the current adjustment because enemies don't have our limitations. As for the perks and boosts you can find a slew of us in the community that agree NONE of those things belong in a Ghost Recon game. We didn't ask for them and want them removed.
Why would complaints from beta be affecting commercial release? Wouldn't a you expect a company to have a commercial release that reflects their needs as a first impression? Beta isn't a finished game and shouldn't those stamina complaints be addressed in beta and tested in beta phase?
Knowing the month of first play isn't suppose to give more weight but help obtain a little background into your vote. The game splits us into 3 groups: Beta, commercial, and post v1.03. I want to see if those who played before the patch see this update as a positive or negative relative to those starting with the patch. Of course those just starting to play now wouldn't experience any difference because they have nothing to compare it to. So this why we educate!
Lastly, If you can track down the stamina complaints for commercial release or in beta that would be great. Me saying there were no complaints to stamina has no regard to the beta but state the fact that there aren't any stamina complaints on this forum since commercial release. The word our there is, Ubisoft is listening to bad feedback. Thanks for the vote.
Hi,
We already had a proper pool: the community survey.

Cheers
If you can find the community survey that relates to the changes to stamina, please post it here.Originally Posted by FalkonFreja Go to original post
But you're not stating a fact it's your opinion not supported by anything other than what you think to be true.
Stamina isn't even listed in the survey they did for most requested changes to survival elements the end result being only 25% of respondents thought it was even worth mentioning. That's a fact.
You can look that up yourself and any other posts with regards to stamina.
You will find the posts that complain about stamina changes also contain an equal amount of responses in the support for it.
Im not sure where you are getting your information. Search this forum, there is nothing on stamina. The community survey as you state doesnt mention anything on stamina. what I say is true.Originally Posted by TreFacTor Go to original post
Did you find the post about the change from the day of the patch? There's always a discussion on it. I'm not doing your leg work. I participated in that discussion and am telling you the conversation was equal parts. Read it yourself.Originally Posted by GoalLine Go to original post
I TOLD you stamina wasn't an option in the surveys regarding survival mechanic changes of which stamina IS a part of and told you WHY it wasn't listed. You're caught up in YOUR opinion on the topic and simply refuse to see the other side of the topic.
Stamina and sliding are tied together and WAS a very vocal problem for the community. To resolve the issue with sliding and stamina, stamina was increased. Now if you want to get on your soapbox and confront the developers on conflict resolution, by all means do so but take knowledge instead of your feelings to support you because right now you have bunk.
