I have no idea what you are talking about. I have a particular game I want to play. I will play that game. If they don't make that game I will go elsewhere with my money. I am not interested in compromising what I want to play, what would be the point? It's not like trying to compromise on the height of a fence. If I am not satisfied with the product, I'll go elsewhere. Whether you are happy or not with the game isn't relevant to my experience and where I spend my money. Please stop trying to push your agenda with my posts, I am not intruding on yours to avoid another moderator issue. please return the favor.Originally Posted by x-RD-x Go to original post

Gear score does make a difference. Looking at the stats might not show it, but try using 2 identical weapons where one is at your current gear level and the other is 20,30 levels below it and you'll see right away that there's a difference in how many shots you need to take down an enemy (unless you're getting headshots obviously)
Iv Been informed of how it changes things. It's for the pve content. Higher gs makes it easier to kill lower gs AI.Originally Posted by mads959 Go to original post
Thanknu for helping clear things up.

In the normal world map you can fight against a Behemoth and the the warning shows you should have a minimum of 260+ gs to fight there.
I think there is a possible gs from 300.
Because of the "+" aside the 260 I think there is possible more than 260. But one is clear... As higer your gearscore is, as longer it needs to climb the next level.
I see another thing. I was together with some groups to play the RAID. What I heve seen... All together do the same big mistake. Instead first to explote the areas, insteadt to develope their characters, they rush through the areas, they do not switch off the NPC's and so they do not have any chance to win against the boss.
I found out that you should clean up the areas first to get better items and bring the character to a higher GS first.
It is said that a GS of 150 is enough for the RAID. But since groups with different GSs often go into the RAID together, there should be some kind of GS compensation within the group.
As a result, the group should first clean the areas to achieve the highest possible GS.
Only when you have reached this level, you should face the final boss.
But if you only run through the areas and do the minimum of tasks, you shouldn't be surprised if the end boss is too powerful.
I think the system is designed in such a way that each player always drops the right parts to reach the final GS.
But to get those parts, it's imperative to first eliminate the NPC's and grab the Loot.
I'm gear score 240 something, and I don't care. I have gotten this completely by accident without paying any attention to it because I'm playing ghost recon. I genuinely wouldn't care or probably notice if I load up the game and it had dropped to 140 something. Its arbitrary nonsense, increased gear score doesn't represent anything, it has zero value and doesn't prove achievement status or progress. Because I've ignored mine and it's quite high. Stupid system.
See but that's not accurate, since you can't get above 252 killing the enemies in the wild, I am 252, the enemies are 260, they do not drop higher GS loot than 252. thus the bosses and especially their minions still murder you quite easily no matter how much farming you do.Originally Posted by Sentinel-_-EU Go to original post
this was actually one of my biggest gripes with the raid in its current form. In the outside if I am having a difficult time with a particular mission I can adjust the difficulty down Without it affecting the loot drops yet you cannot turn the raid difficulty down at the start to learn it and get drops. Although they have mentioned making a lower difficulty version later if they nerf the loot drops it will be the same as the Division 2's raid. No one will want to do it.
i agree this system is pretty borked. being a newer player and spending a couple days running and learning raids, i have the same issue as everyone. 260+ gear score go to store and i can only purchase 190+ blue prints. the system really STILL needs a revamp. while going to store should NOT guarantee a gear level bump, world drops for completing objectives should still give you the 1-5 level bump that it does normally. it should not be limited ONLY to raids. if you have spent the time to complete raid bosses and earned the gear, why should you be punished going back to standard world missions? that just doesnt make any sense at all... all common sense lost in that process.
there is literally nothing for me to do on the game because none of the regular world objectives will help me progress any further, only making me go backwards. what an epic blunder on the thought process of this stuff.
ive played a week now and im pretty much done with the game. very disappointed with all the bugs and issues with raids, no point in playing any more missions as the gear is sub level i already am. no reason to continue story missions / objectives or anything else.way to go UBI, taking my money elsewhere.
