Raids are impossible to complete with the 4 player requirement | Forums

So far Ive been thankful for the patches and the amount of content by the developers. The raids however just gave me a migraine.

The 4 player requirement results in broken up teams, joining a session where the team is halfway through an objective, and if you manage to make it to a boss fight, pray that your teammates are competent so you wont be stuck there forever.
Somebody just quit a boss fight and youre now left with 3 people. What now? Oh look somebody joined!! Carefully explain to them how to beat the boss, and even then by the time they get the hang of it somebody else will quit and you need a new squad member.

This was my afternoon - Start raid from the beginning, complete objectives, fight the first boss the "baal" about 40 times, then complete objectives, fight the second boss the "gargoyle" about 40-50 times, of course by then we went through like 5-7 squad members as the 4th person kept quitting one after another, everybody had enough of quitters and we just all left. Now Im back to trying to find a reliable team to fight the first boss again (already tried like 20 times). And all this took about 4-5 hours.

Im wondering if its possible to complete these at all as it takes an insane amount of time and an insane amount of dedication from random people.
Please remove the 4 player requirement as its the single biggest obstacle in completing these raids.

Alright, after today I can confirm that until some things change the raid is unplayable, for me atleast.
Find a somewhat competent team, then start from the beginning, then somebody quits, incomes the new guy and he has a learning curb, by the time he gets how to beat the first boss, somebody else gets tired and quits, incomes the new guy and he has a learning curb and round we go.

Then, finally I managed to find a good team, got to almost the gargoyle drone, and my game crashes. Naturally its impossible to find your previous team so once again its a hunt for a new team.
Found a new team, we enter the raid, and boom we are loaded into the final boss, because the game host has already completed all of the bosses. So I literally skipped the gargoyle and the super computer without ever beating them. Ok, no problem, I guess I'll do those later.

Nope, game crashes. Yeah, I just got the gold edition of Far Cry 5 + gold edition of New Dawn plus some version of Far Cry 3 for Black Friday. You can bet on it I have better games to play.

They can't because devs designes bossfights around four people need to cooperate. Less than four doesn't have a chance.

I played 5 hours today and none of the players lasted longer than 30 minutes. All went out of the game and broke off the RAID. Or people would just kick me when I came in. Either they asked me if I spoke English and then they kicked me.From 5 hours game 2.5 hours I watched the loading screen in connecting to different sessions. That's great! I hope in the new year we will see the same great games that Ubisoft makes for us.Thank you guys

My best guess is your team sucked it took me several hours to find a squad that I run raids with now and will continue to in the future just keep looking

It is very possible. World first was done in under 5 hours. My team.beat in in 12 and many others to follow. It's not about having 3 other players it's about having 4 players that can communicate and execute when needed. If they fail this they fail the fight....if u feel ur doing this and not beating the fight then u are failing one of those requirements.

Git gud man, it's not impossible come on, I finished all bosses with my squad, it's very hard but fun, it's honest in its difficulty

Those of you saying “Get good” are full of crap. Have you tried getting it done with a bunch of brain dead randoms? No?! Try playing it on fill! It’s bloody horrible some people are just so bad that when we play we have to pick them up all the time like wtf

Those saying get good would prolly never try with randows cuz they know it's a headache. They find ppl threw discord that are serious about it and stick to it.
