I would say that I am not alone when I say that I am sick and tired of the sliding in GRBP. At the beginning it was fun, but now, it has become so laborious and annoying. The slightest incline and you're sliding. It's got so bad now, your character cannot distinguish between the gradient of a stairs to a hillside and quite frankly I've had enough of the sliding and I think that I speak for most of the players who feel the same as me. Get rid of the sliding please its so bloody annoying, it makes me angry every time that I slide for no apparent reason.

Unfortunately there will be those who probably enjoy the sliding and probably think it is the best part of the game. But for those serious gamers, the sliding has to go. I have slid past Silverback Sentinel so many times and they shot me on the way down a hill so many times where I have slid uncontrollably down an embankment I have lost count. So please remove the pointless and extremely annoying sliding from the game.
You don't speak for most of the community, you're not that special.

The sliding is a great feature but it's way overdone. It even happens on things that we should be able to walk on, like ramps.

I like that it is in the game but I agree with posters above that it seriously needs to be dialed back. It's excessive.

It isn't nearly so dramatic as in Breakpoint with all the porn sounds, and certainly isn't going to happen on a slight incline. It's also a LOT less likely to happen on dry, firm ground. As you said, you usually just catch a root, or slip, and eat **** immediately.
Oh yeah, remember the time I slipped down backwards and tumbled down a hill, was lucky I never broke my neck....Anxiously funny memories...Get me anxious like I'm suffocating and ****.

The sliding is pretty bad... I dont think they need to remove anything else from the game though. Anymore that can capture more immersive. I think ,instead of subtracting from the game anymore ,to add to the concept of traversal. As quickly as you can lose ground of a slope their should be a way you can gain ground. It's been a many times that I was on a hike in this game and I seen this massive slope or a building and I was just wishing to climb it to gain an more tactical advantage on my objective
.• I think they should add Fast Ropes and attachments to hook yourself to your team (players and A.I companions) like what we are trained to do in the military. •Also a feature of recovery once you have started sliding to perform an action that is based on timing and if failed causes you to keep being gravity's best friend.

☆Use a drone with payload of a rope inside it to hook to something as a anchor and then guild the rope to the operator.

As I'm trying to find anything bad about it I can't, there's just one way to adapt your movement to avoid such places so you don't slide, especially when your in firefight, which is annoying but it makes the point to avoid steep slopes while shooting, In short terms, watch your steps.

The enemies also carry gear and an unlimited resource of ammunition.
If Nomad slides down hills (because he obviously skipped leg day too many times) the enemies should also slide down hills instead of being bad guy/mountain goat hybrids.

I missed the poll . I'm in favor of the slide. I've actually used it to escape when situations go FUBAR. Thank you for reading

Sliding downhill, can be very usefull in my opinion

However, the redicilous amount of sudden slides downwards when you attempt to climb a hill are just annoying. Especially that the trigger for it seems very inconsistent. It would be great if they could further improve the hill climbing/declining system.

Note that this just seems not to be a feature in GRBR. A lot of games have this annoying not able to climb/walk on certain slopes that result in a slide even when common sense says other wise.
