Fun is very subjective especially considering a lot of the gr community do not see anything fun in looter shooter robot tanks with laser beams.

I play in Breakpoint to be entertained, not to obtain some "skills" in passing laser beams in specific pattern which isn't presented anywhere besides ONE arena fight in ONE game.

I'm just here to say I just got a headache trying to read whatever mess of a incoherent run-on sentence that was trying to be written here, thanks for that.

What you call skills? Passing laser beams in specific pattern which isn't presented anywhere besides ONE arena fight in ONE game? Or "towing" three drones around arena which again isn't presented anywhere besides ONE arena fight in ONE game?

But as much as I still want to free roam the island, we would not feel forced into the raid, if they offer other ways to get most of the new items, without needing to go to the island. The raid loot (Red Wolves gear and the 4 unique weapons) could locked behind doing the raid, and maybe sold in the store down the road. But the rest of the other new items, should be added to the overall loot pool. so you could get them as rewards for completing faction missions, instead of being given a grenade or some weapon parts. Actually they should make it so that Faction missions, and PVP, share a loot pool. So if you want all the new items, you can get them by completing faction missions, or completing challenges in PVP.. That way players can play the content that they want to, and still get most of the weapons, gear and customization options..
How many items are locked behind the open world content that is soloable, behind the mission system wich many sont care to take part of but if they want those items they are in YOUR words "forced" to fo do those things they dont care to do?

Before the raid, there really wasn't that many items that were locked strictly behind PVE content. The only two unique weapons, and not just skins, were the two you get for killing Walker. Everything else can also be awarded in PVP, earned from the Battle Passes, or purchased from the store.

I dont know them all so correct me if I'm wrong but the stoner is locked in a mission aswell as 4 mission. Bosses that have weapons unobtainable u less u do those missions. If the stoner is behind a mission im sure there is more. So this mode does in fact have items that are only obtainable to.those who do the missions and not the shop. Are most or some purchasable threw the store? Sure but not all. Should some of the raid items be purchasable threw the store? Sure but not all. Aswell as the class gear being obtainable from a type of class objective not a raid but said objective should be doable threw pvp, solo or coop thierfor not forcing one to play the other to obtain a class item when classes are used in all aspects of the game.

You are mistaken. You may need to complete a mission to unlock the blueprint for the stoner, but It is also available to be looted from chests, in the open world, and PVP.
