I agree as long as you don't need a suppressor the Zastave is hardest hitting choice.I usually take 3 rounds + to take down a chopper with TAC50 but 1 for the Zastava.Got so good I started a competition with myself how many choppers I can down in the 2 minutes of defending an objective.Sad I know but with the state of the game,ubi stripping my solo playtime,coop playtime and my story completion from me I don't see the point of grinding out the same faction missions daily for 3 weeks at a time.
True, though in Afghanistan, Iraq and other locales, this rifle is still used, especially with the USMC, it's very reliable and most engagements are not the so-called one mile shot scenarios, LOL, they're within 100-500 yards, the Mk 14 excels in these constrained environments. Don't get me wrong, there are a ton of folks that have transitioned and moved on to new generation gear, though there's still more than a few rocking the ole trusty.Originally Posted by Ghost416 Go to original post
The reason some snipers use other rifles is because it is just simply variety like one poster said he challenges himself that only made him better with that sniper rifle in either a specific situation or all around, case and point I have a specific loadout that I call "Deep State Sniper" and that's the 5.7: great range and accurate, G28: modified accurate, powerful damage, 85-90% range good handling, excellent DTD and semi-auto rate of fire is great for multiple engagements, either the Tac 50 or Scorpio Scout because of already stated for a camp of drones,sentinel and wolves;
Each sniper rifle has its own unique qualities for a unique set of circumstances/situations scorpio scout perfect for putting down drones, Tac 50 or M82 usually those are used for vehicles both land, air and sea but they aren't actual .50cal but anyways just because it seems like one rifle will get the job done it is just that seems like it until put in a situation that requires you to shift/adapt reason why the saying goes "stay ready and you don't gotta get ready" also why snipers are directly related to reconnaissance as some snipers would also say "i always know who and what I am dealing with before I go into a situation" that's really for everyday life but most don't prepare like that same goes for the game.
Well I took shots towards 600 m with the A1. Also, the shorter size looks a lot better when hung on your rucksack while kneeling down.........not poking the ground. LOLLLLOriginally Posted by Dani1457 Go to original post
I took all three 50-cal rifles to the range (Auroa Airport) and the biggest differences between them, regardless of how you set them up (which is limited) was the recoil. Take a shot and observe how far the reticule moves off the target and how long it takes to settle back. It’s insane with the M82, better with the HTI and best with the TAC. The semi-auto action advantage of the M82 is completely lost due to the massive recoil.Originally Posted by BooMShakalaQ Go to original post
I may be mistaken, but I believe the M82 can’t equip a bipod which further disqualifies it.
Also the TAC can equip a 10 round magazine. I’m not sure about the other two.
But as I said earlier, the RoF of the Scorpio Scout makes it the king of TTK on drones. But there are a lot of other factors that affect TTK on drones such as perks, suppressor use, sharpshooter bullets, and most importantly where you hit the drone. But in my experience the Scorpio Scout is the best for rapid follow up shots and getting lead on target.
