I don't think the survey was rigged, but I don't like the way the presented the results. I want the raw data. I want to know if 30% of the respondents felt offline play was the single most important thing they wanted or not. You have no way of discerning that from how they presented the results. I want to see the comments section where folks could more fully explain their thoughts. Trust is something you build. If Ubi wants my trust they have to work at it and it starts with giving me all the information.
I would also like to know who qualified as 'players' in the presented data set. Like you said, the raw data would be preferred.Originally Posted by Steven527 Go to original post
Yeah...I guess the biggest clue as to where they stand regarding respecting the consumer should have been them teaming up with Google. We're nothing more than wallets and metadata for them to farm.Originally Posted by GAP_Computer Go to original post
Hey look.... we have taken on board all your concerns. Next year we will start to address these major issues. We designed the game to be online always for single player. We designed the game as a looter shooter. We designed the monetary aspect as the most polished process of the game.
We were wrong on all these design issues. We know that so decided to also remove all the survival mechanics we advertised as well. We basically made all the wrong desicions to kill the the ghost recon basic principle dead. We simply do not care. We had all the feedback from the the betas showing exactly the same concerns. We decided that enough people would buy the gane despite the atrocious bugs, story and mechanics to give us our profit margins to the shareholders etc. Boy were we wrong. We are man enough to admit we have have caused major damage to the franchise and sales due to our actions. We now have to ACTUALLY remedy these issues.
UBI remedy these issues very quickly. If you want to cater to mass market sheep so be it. BUT add modes where all the advertising and THE NAME AND FRANCHISE of TOM CLANCEY GHOST RECON is not dumbed down to a looter shooter crap fest generic pot noodle of a game. You have admitted major issues - for the love of god get your act together to try and win back this franchise. PC gaming etc is bringing in BILLIONS of pounds for the right companies. Do not dumb down to the lowest denominator demographic the spirit and mechanics of the game. Do so if you wish but give modes and options to the people that want the following. A tactical shooter, A survival mode that actually means you have to work to survive. AI that is better than DUCKS ON ACID. NO LOOTER SHOOTER. NO TIERED ENEMIES. Simply give people the choice of a game that you advertised with all these mechanics intact instead of lying with your advertisements. It is not rocket science- you have become a company that has scant regard for your buyers. You have chosen the route of dumbing down to such a degree that even the idiot sheep that normally buy your games are now questioning why they are supporting you. Rant over but hopefully point across,
they're good at fixing what ain't broke, but this game is broke as hell now, so no need to worry about breaking it more.Originally Posted by Hugo-FOU Go to original post
I'm probably the negative one here but considering raid has already added gear score I doubt they'll ditch that. It'll make people feel like they did the raid for nothing.Originally Posted by Hugo-FOU Go to original post
I also am skeptical that AI teammates topped no loot. I love AI teammates. A lot of people don't like them. Everyone hates gear score. Something feels fishy.
Yeah, like many, most of you. I don't trust their reported results.
I've been active or lurking in these forums since before launch.
The comments/complaints I've read on here don't align with what their reporting.
"Early next year" could mean any time before June 2020. Maybe we should just start calling them Vague-soft?
There's no way they're going to disclose the raw data. They will never be that transparent.
They're too concerned with their terminator event, which will no doubt be filled with more fully automatic crappy weapons, gear that is in no way tactical, and or useful.
Remember the adaptive camo from Wildlands?
New Enemy Types
(IN-PROGRESS) The Raid (Project Titan), as well as the Terminator Live Event, will feature enemies you have yet to come across. The new Episodes will also include more variants of existing drones.
YEEHAA !! More bulletsponge TD elements incoming to a "realistic military shooter" !
don't be so sure, how quickly we seem to forgot the screaming headshots.Originally Posted by GAP_Computer Go to original post
