Exactly, I wish people could comprehend most of us were excited for "The First Ever" Raid in GR. A different kinda of Raid specifically designed for somewhat realistic military shooter, not another bland TD2, Destiny, WOW raid design. GR is not the same game play that the other games are period and they still gave us this!!! Lost opportunity. If their idea was to just bring in a few random player (content creators) that like this type of raid and speed runs, then I guess the game is dead because they will just leave and go play TD2 until the weekly reset then come back do a new speed run and go back to playing other games lime they already are. Two thumbs up UBI, you really nailed this one.
It's not souly about comms. U need comes and u need exact execution. Mixing the time it take for one to execute an action with the time it takes for 1 other player to notice this action and respond is the key....now manage that with 4 players total. It takes alot of on time teamwork and was a blast trying to figure out how to accomplish it. Our 2nd round went so much smoother and hopefully tomorow our 3rd round will go even better. The computer boss is very simple once u understand the concept. We downed it in less than 5 mins, activated the o2 and fan 1 time and delt with drones only 1 time.
I agree, by far the most unenjoyable raid I've ever played. 90 exclusive items locked to raid which we cant get passed 1st boss...always die when boss is 90% down. If we can ever even get that far. I literally only 2 items from the raid and I know I will never see them which is pretty lame
There is nothing tactical about running around in a big open area playing laser tag.
I've had ubisoft back for everything else about this game but I'm over the **** show that is the raid. Sad because we were all so excited to try it out.
Atleast it's better then clearing the same bases over and over and over, for no real rhyme or reason other than headcanon RPing a super soldier like in Wildlands. It actually gives you a reason to keep playing the game verse no reason.Originally Posted by KROM82 Go to original post
I'd say boss 1 and 2 are fairly "easy" to do with 3 randoms. You may need a mic but just text chat should be fine. As long as Greedysoft let you type and read stuff in the chat...
HOWEVER... Boss 3 and 4. I see no way for a full pug even with mic to down that. I found 3 ppl from my own country so we set up a disc channel and grinded the 3rd boss for 3 hrs untill we got it. The amount of coordination and small room for error. I get that it should be a challenge but everyone doesn't have 3 friends that own the game or are lucky enough to find 3 ppl that are willing to get on disc and grind the **** out...
And now since I've downed the first 3 bosses I can't start from the beginning?
