I was flying helicopter with rockets and was on a squad elimination mission.

It was a forest area at night so I just randomly shot rockets at light sources in the mission area.

Apparently I got the squad, because the mission ticker said 3/3 at some point, but probably since I never got close enough to the targets and the guys were not marked with the green bubbles, the mission never actually completed. It just stayed there with 3/3 targets killed and that's it.
