So 6 months after release they say no further support for FC5. And then over 18 months later they release an update to fix an issue with old unsupported CPU's.
I don't get it... I mean I'm happy the game is still getting updates, but if they're gonna release a patch, how about they at least fix something a bit more important than compatibility with outdated/unsupported hardware? (Like the stuttering, or any of the the 27 billion glitches which affect people with SUPPORTED hardware.)
Like... If it's unsupported then don't support it?
Isn't that how this works?![]()
Perhaps removing the SSE 4.1 requirement was needed to move forward on Uplay+ and/or Stadia?
I agree the autosave stutter fix should have higher prio, but Ubi already deemed that won'tfix.
Oh and as a side note, this update seems to have removed EasyAntiCheat, so people can at least now use the Resistance Mod to try and work around the autosave stutter issue without the need to circumvent EAC.
