Cross-Platform or Cross-Progression System

If they are trying to keep the game consistent across all platforms, perhaps make it cross-platform, or, as that is probably way too much to ask for, just simply cross-progression? That would be good overall and really cool. Players that currently play on multiple platforms already will have all of their progress merged somehow. Just an idea.

I am totally in favor! Actually, I started with For Honor on Playstation 4 and still enjoy playing there. But since many of the people I like to play with have begun to work with For Honor on the PC, I have "forcibly" bought a PC version of For Honor - and had to start from the beginning ...

I think it would be great if the cross-platform feature finally appeared or at least could be played on both systems with the same account.

), and I started with For Honor on PlayStation 4 and still enjoy playing there as well. Same as me, I have now tried to play For Honor on PC, as I can actually play with my brothers For Honor, however I have to start all from the beginning and all of my exclusive gear from PS4 that I earned during events and what not doesn't exist on PC. I can understand the possible restrictions that come with this however, it could be pretty challenging to implement.

Cross-platform would increase the playerbase as well. I feel like For Honor has reached a point where that wouldn't hurt.

I know of the complaints controller users have about being at a disadvantage. But that all seems far less significant than in most other game genres, especially with For Honor's system being perfectly made for controllers.

Afaik there is no real disadvantage by playing with a controller compared to mouse and keyboard. It's more of personal preference. Some high-level players play with controller and others with mouse and keyboard. The issue is more that many console players play on wifi and on ****ty television sets not meant for low latency gaming.

My thoughts exactly. I even play with a PS4 Controller on PC and do better with it than without it most of the time. Exactly again! For Honor's system is very much made for controllers, so if anything, we have the advantage using any kind of controllers!

Exactly, like I said, I use a PS4 Controller on PC and it feels much better honestly, but that could be because I started off on PS4, who knows.

Another thing is, the For Honor Faction War is indeed Cross-Platform, so technically we already are playing Cross-Platform, if you want to go that way, but then again, the gameplay isn't really Cross-Platform, so perhaps adding this in would tie in nicely to the Faction War too, and please many other players too!

I don't like cross platform as I personally hate consoles and controllers. This is PC. Play the game using a keyboard and mouse. If I were in charge, all controller input would be banned on PC so that every player is forced to use a keyboard and mouse.

In my opinion, controllers take no skill and any 5 year old can use them.

Regarding the faction war, I think it should be based on PC only, not cross platform. Let every platform have their own faction war.

Regarding the progression, this is a new platform (PC) so grind again from scratch.

Different people different taste.

Some people play better with keyboard and others are better with a controller.

Nothing of both has a advantage like you are saying here.

Quite the opposite most controllers have horrible in put lags.

The Faction War thing makes sense, it's more fair too, as if not it depends on the population of a faction on a console type too.

The 'grind again from scratch' thing is just strange. I know what you mean, seeing as you seem to be a PC main, but like if you were to, for some reason move to console, wouldn't you want all your hard earned progress to go with you, and vice versa? Having cross progression would be good all around, ok fine about controller input, but at least cross progression.
