    Mono faction breach gamemode.

    Been toying with the idea of a mono faction breach mode lately.

    Could go down something like this:

    2 teams of 4 players, using the current breach rules and maps.
    Game randomly selects what faction the team gets exluding wu lin as they are dlc faction. (aka if the game selects the team you are on to be samurai, the team can only select samurai fighters) Spesificly it would be vikings vs samurai or knights, samurai vs knights or vikings, knights vs vikings or samurai.
    Same style of hero selection as R6: Sige uses on their operators to prevent "4 of the same hero" issue.

    Taking it one step furter could be to remove the random faction selection and instead have it match the faction you have selected to support on the faction war map.



    This mode could ofc lead to one faction beeing more powerfull then others, but that could give the devs a clue as to how to remake existing fighters that preforms badly or add new fighters that could bring with them what the faction is missing.

    Anyways, like i said, it is just an idea and what i have written could turn out to be in reality a realy bad idea, but i feel a mono faction game mode of some kind should be added to the game.

    Great idea! 'Faction Locked Matchmaking' was an idea I thought of a while back, but I think due to a design choice and narrative choice, you can play as any hero from any faction to support any faction. Either way, I second this.

    This idea needs a bigger mode than breach. A fight with all factions involved, perhaps more than 4 players each.

    The mode should trigger in the center of the faction war map, and should be an open battle extended over a longer match duration, with players being allowed to join and leave at any point.
    Whichever faction wins this fight/most of these fights should conquer the other two of the 3 center areas.

    "Most of these fights" since pitting all players in one map may cause frame issues, but I'm not sure how big the impact would really be. There is potential for larger maps/connecting maps to make space for a multitude of heroes.
