You're right if they do crossplay for current-gen standard consoles and PC but it should be fine for next-gen. If latency/lag is not an issue on current premium consoles then that could work as well. Console to console crossplay for current-gen wouldn't hurt either.Originally Posted by AmonDarkGod Go to original post
But for honour is factually at the peak point of players of all time right now and this was not by any means a smooth yearOriginally Posted by Soldier_of_Dawn Go to original post
Personally, on PS4 it feels lively in solo and way less so in team queue. Solo I wait between ... Instant? And maybe a minute max. Premade it's a way longer wait, usually 1 to 5 minutes.
I really wish we would get rid of standard solo or ranked solo though. Dividing the player base for a specific mode sucks.
Brawls, Deathmatch and this other mode who's name I forgot aren't played actively any longer though I guess. I mostly leave queues after more then 5 minutes have passed.
Anyway, still stand on my suggestions made earlier: some advertising and release on stadia, free to play, crossplay and we are all set for a bright future where bickering will be about balance.
It will never be called For Honor 2 because it's not really marketable that way, maybe For Honor: Next or something like that. Or Ubi will just keep calling it "For Honor" to not confuse their customers. It is my firm belief that a For Honor engine for the next gen consoles is being developed as we speak. Too much resources are being spent on content right now.Originally Posted by RenegadeRasta Go to original post
My wishlist is: Backwards compatible and cross platform so we get to keep our hard earned unlocks. Absolutely spotless net code. (I get disconnects every now and then even now) I would also like to merge my PS4 account and PC account if possible.

I for one stopped playing the game months ago because of their bad decisions with the Shinobi nerfs that started with Patch 2.11 and continued throughout the year. I'm not the only one who quit playing this game.
Just because there are players today, it does not mean that those players will be here tomorrow. They need to fix the big issues if they hope to retain their player base or to bring back players who still check the forums for improvements. The Shinobi is still in desperate need of a rework in order for the hero to become viable again, there is absolutely no way that I nor my friends would play For Honor until the Shinobi gets fixed. I used to spend a lot of money in the For Honor in-game store, but when they screwed everything up with Patch 2.11, I stopped spending money on this game completely. They undercut their own income when they make heroes undesirable to play, which is what happened with the Shinobi when they nerfed the hero into the ground.
I used to play this game day and night; but Ubisoft ruined the experience for me with their Patch 2.11 hyper nerfs on the Shinobi with nothing to compensate. I don't even think they take player departures into consideration when they introduce such drastic changes that wreck the player experience.
They nerfed the Shinobi Backflip without even including such a big change in their Patch Notes, so that shows you how much they care about how their players might reaction to overwhelmingly stupid decisions.
It depends . The one thing that must happen is new players. Without new players no game survives. As we all know this is not the easiest community to be the New guy. Still a lot of Toxicity going on and that really discourages new players. I for one try very hard to help new players and help them enjoy the game. I play because I enjoy the experience and don't care a thing in the world about winning % or Gear stuff. If I get matched with a player that is clearly in over his head I'll do everything I can to not just wreck him or her and even drop a few rounds or take some damage to let them enjoy the game . A lot of players still get their kicks trolling noobs and generally just being jerks. Honestly I find that now I don't see it as often but when I first started the game it was frustrating . This is true of any gaming community but I think in year 4 gaining new players is a major major thing going forward.
