Yes but devs needs to be faster with buffs/nerfs patches

People have been saying the game is dead or dying since before the end of the first season when Injustice 2 was going to kill it, then it was Absolver, I think Mortal Kombat, Mordhau was going to kill it dead blah blah blah.

The game has gone this long and, whatever people tell you about player counts, has a higher player retention than pretty much any other fighter out there. i think that sooner or later content will stop and that is when the are going to ask if the dedicated servers will be pulled as has happened to other games on them, but I think as long as the devs are trying to keep it alive there will be players for it.

This game is too unique and established to "not survive" IMO. Even without content coming I can see this IP going on for years whilst entering straight maintenance status, which it isn't anytime soon btw.

seeing as there is no other game on the marked with the gameplay mechanics FH has, the only thing that kan kill this game is a sequal. (something is hope they do NOT do)

its popularity however is down to balances and content releases.

I'm sure Year 4's content will be something to look forward to along with the ongoing hero improvements, the possibility of For Honor going cross-platform, and taking advantage of the horsepower of the next-gen consoles.

i prefer they work on a For Honor 2 and rebalance the gameplay and heroes. Releasing a new For Honor will also bring more new players. I can't attest to the player count now but it cant be to high considering i tend to run in the same players
