If you do breach with a full team of champion status you can get 450 steel per hour if you win all your matches and they only last 20minutes each. But I would not expect anymore than 300 steel per hour. I think dominion is still slower than breach for xp and steel but at the very least it can't be any better than breach.

So breach with champion status is your best chance unless matches take way too long to find

Breach has the highest yield but a looong match can be grating on your nerve and diminish your effectiveness. Dominion should be better for sanity and some breathing time between matches

That is funny. I lose my sanity from playing dominion XD

1: invest in 4000 steel to buy 1 week of premium.
2: play the game every single day doing both dailys and as many orders as possible, idealy all of them.
3: play EXLUSIVLY breach game mode for 7 days when you are not doing the orders. a win on attacking side can give around 80-90 steel.

after 3 days you have earned back the 4k steel you used on the prem account and the remaining 4 days is pure profit.

I'm not sure you get more steel with champion status.
