Sorry to hear you are having issues with changing your dancer card, could you please confirm which platform you are on and what error you get when you do this?
Thanks!
Hey houck,
There is no error message that we get. It just doesn't change.
You go to the dancer cards and change the Avatar.
You get back to the screen with the dancer cards. It's changed there.
Go back to the main screen. You see your old Avatar back or if you are lucky you see your new Avatar there.
If you see your new Avatar there and play a song and you select your card. You see the old Avatar again.
So whatever you do. It keeps reverting back to the original Avatar before you changed it.
Doing multiple changes doesn't help.
Making another dancer cards the main dancer card and then switching doesn't help.
Maybe it helps as extra info but I have just dance as a SD card and not downloaded on the switch itself.
Hey GeKopt, thanks for clarifying the issue, and for specifying that you have the game installed on your SD card. I do not believe the install location to be of consequence for this particular issue, however, I'll certainly pass that information forward - it would be helpful if you could install the game on your internal Switch memory, and let us know if this changes anything for you, as such.
If you (and anyone else with this issue on Nintendo Switch) have not already done so, can you also please run through these troubleshooting steps, and let me know if they allow your dancer card to be updated / deleted and work as intended? Thanks!
With SD I meant I bought the cardridge. Not downloaded it from the eShop.Originally Posted by Ubi-Woofer Go to original post
Thank you for clarifying that for us, GeKopt!Originally Posted by GeKopt Go to original post
Have you been able to try the troubleshooting steps as suggested by Woofer?
I've had this issue since April where my original/default card is overriding my other dancer cards. I reached out to support multiple times but each time they just give me a copy and paste response that Ubisoft is aware of the issue and is working on a solution.
Here is what I have experienced: I have not been able to properly change my avatar, skin, or alias on my dancer cards after they are created. As soon as I try to change them, it reverts back to the original settings. I can create a new card with different settings but the same thing happens when I try to change those as well. I have tried to delete my original dancer card so my new one shows up but it ends up coming back and deleting the new one instead when the game is opened again. There is also a dancer card that pops up that I have not made when I am switching between cards before a song plays. It does not show up in my main dancer card screen though. The default card is also the one that shows up if I become dancer of the week and when playing on the World Dancer Floor. It says on the dancer of the week that I was level 9 when I was actually level 140+.
I have tried deleting and redownloading the game and made no difference. I tried going offline and changing the dancer cards and it appeared to work until I connected online again and it reverted back to the original card I am trying to get rid of.
Please see how this problem can be fixed.
