Ubisoft Paris should be ashamed of themselves for disrespecting the Ghost Recon name with this abomination. I've put around 200hrs (185 according to the game counter), an though my intent is to slog through to its conclusion, I've gotta say they have dececrated both the Ghost Recon an sadly the Tom Clancy franchise as we know it. Even since the recent patch (which I feel fixed absolutely nothing), it has felt like more of a chore than enjoyment to get through. Point #1: Why would you push Stealth it seems that everything goes tits up when a body is found, but no one knows how it happened, an if you go loud, but have reckoned the hole area an marked everybody STILL u over saturate the area by spawning in more enemies than necessary. Point #2: As a gunsmith an gun enthusiast in real life, while most of the guns are a reasonable factimaly to their world counterparts, the impact affect need tweaking, as even though trees an other hard surfaces can affect impact, a blade of grass or even a tree leaf can NOT stop a bullet going 2500-2700fps!!! Point #3: if your trying to give us players choice.... GIVE IT TO US, dont push a certain way to approach a situation upon us when we get to a certain location, case in point..... when I was going to a location to quietly stealth a base, out of the blue there is an explosion a close by that sent the whole base into a frenzy, I attempted to wait it out, but even after a 15min wait, they were still orange (mid high alter before full), there are many more problems I could mention, but to avoid a novel, I thought I would just name the 2 biggest I've seen yet. As I said at the start, ubisoft Paris, you are an udder disgrace to the ghost recon an Tom Clancy name an should be shut down. Now I realize many of you may not share in this opinion, an that is perfectly fine, we all have a right to our own opinions, but it truly irritates me as an old timer who's been gaming since the age of 10 to see a franchise ive loved go down the tubes like this one has. I truly hope to see an improvement with the next patch, but as it stands right now, I see no light at the end of the tunnel for this one.
I must say, I keep reading thing like this. And it's all true but.... The common theme of "I've played 200 hrs of this terrible game" makes me laugh. I lasted about 6 hrs into RDR2, maybe 3 hrs into the last of us. But I didn't enjoy them, and they are infinitely superior products to breakpoint. But no way I'm putting 200 hrs into them and they are just a quick example.
I can't help but ask, why? Games been out 7 wks. And you've played it nearly 30hrs a wk, like having 2 jobs. WTF? Evidence suggests it's not so bad...
This is right on point. I think that underneath all the flaws and frustrations there is a good game. It keeps people playing almost as well as it infuriates them!Originally Posted by fastastoast Go to original post
Your both correct, I wont argue with those points, it does have it's good points which at least for me, keeps me coming back. I'm just trying to convey that for all it's good points, it seem to show more an more of its flaws. An it just seems that for every promise ubi makes, the more they let us down.
This is the dichotomy that is this game... on one hand, you want to love it, especially as a GR and tactical shooter fan, but on the other hand it's so frustrating, you're highly motivated to come here and vent (almost daily in my case!). LOLOriginally Posted by Hugo-FOU Go to original post

I can relate to that, because I did, and I also put in 200+ hours in this bug ridden looter shooter greed-box of a game, not because I approve of the turn this game has taken, but because I wanted to give it a chance.
Sadly though, this game is repetitive, grindy on purpose and mediocre at best.
So laugh all you want, but we all had different expectations on this game....
I appreciate you taking the time to write out your feedback here. You may be glad to hear that several things you described here have been passed along to the team, as well as relevant to our plans for moving forward. If I may ask - how do you often find yourself spending your time in game? What keeps you occupied?
